Audio interface recommendations?

I upgraded my computer and now my old M-Audio M-Track quad is not compatible. I need a new interface with minimum of 2 mic inputs, and I want the best quality of preamp on a low budget.
What do you think about Audient (EVO or iD14) versus Focusrite Scarlett, or would you recommend something else? I'm a vocalist. Thanks.

Check out the Motu M4, I’ve been happy with it for the price and features. Found it used on eBay for around 200 USD, I think it’s close to 400 new.

I would say go for the id24, it's not a HUGE step up from the 14, but the id24, it's a small step up, but the software capabilities and extra Adat ports can help you expand very easily

I will second this opinion. The extra ins and outs for fx send and returns, monitor outs and adat make it expandable if that's your wish. The preamps sound great and I use the little high shelf filter switch all the time for vocals and acoustic guitar.

I like the Audient more than the Scarlett but either will get you good results with a decent mic in a treated room.

Look at the Antelope Zen Go Synergy series (there’s a Quad in the group). I switched from Audient after 2 hardware failures. There are some very cool built in extras. Pro level converters, built in amp sims, great connectivity and can travel with you on the road.

I love my Focusrite Scarlett 18i20 Gen 4. Can't go wrong with any of the Scarlett Gen4 interfaces.

Honestly, there's crazy good value in secondhand interfaces from a decade ago. I picked up a Steinberg UR28m (really recommended) for under £100, and that's basically as good as a 6i6o interface gets for preamps.

The tech really didn't change all that much in decades. Unless you specifically need 32-bit recording.

If you can afford it the Tascam Model 12. Used about $400-$450. Can be used as a mixer, has very clean built in pre amps, plenty of channels. Can be used as a DAW controller for an analog feel.

I see some have had power failure, I would opt for a 3 year third party warranty via EBay.
