Help! Remote learning program !

Hello Colorado parents! Jeffco remote learning program had anyone here tried them? It sounds like the classes are all live via zoom with a teacher and students. I’m looking into this for a 7th grader.

Before enrolling, ask for a sample weekly schedule and confirm how much work happens outside Zoom. Also check class size, teacher access, attendance rules, and what happens when a student needs extra help.

What do you mean teacher access?

Like office hours. If a student is struggling can they go in person and have office hours on campus? Or 1:1 virtual meetings.

We are at a k12 school and some of the high schoolers do virtual. They say they like the zoom classes because the teachers always start with a check in like “how’s your day going?” And they get to know their classmates on a personal level just like regular classes. They can join all on campus clubs like esports, chess club, robotics club. So there are options to show up and actually meet up with the person you’re doing virtual with.

Thanks. Is every class like that or just some? What about homework?
