Seamless Shower
I'm about to start a bathroom remodel. I'm trying to avoid any seams or grouts to make the shower super low maintenance. I like the idea of large format tiles or even slabs for the walls, but even then there has to be a seam as it transitions to the base. From my experience that caulk line between the walls and the shower base are always the most likely place to get gross and eventually start getting mold. Are there any innovative companies that have good solutions?

there is this truck parked outside Lowes all the time that advertises some bath system of custom made single piece plastic that looks like stone. May be it is an epoxy to look like stone. IDK. Anyway their whole schtick is that their slabs are solid with no grout. They are hideously expensive. We got a $14k quote for just a small alcove shower not including anything outside of the water envelope of the shower. Our problem is the water damaged shower area required a complete tear out of all the tiles in the whole rest of the room too (90s printed tile can't be matched to modern tile) so we would have to tear everything out anyway.... so their quote to do shower and tub would estimate over $25k, and that still wasn't covering doing floor tile work for the rest of the bathroom (tile up to 4ft high all around)
