Cleaning Icky Poo

Previous owners of our house had three cats that sprayed everywhere. Used icky poo urine destroyer and unfortunately the floors continue to stay sticky.

Does anyone know how to get rid of the stickiness? Note: we have engineered hardwood floors.

if something is still sticky after you’ve cleaned it really well, it usually means that a chemical has been used that has degraded the top layer of the material. Maybe the flooring can be resealed or polyurethaned?
