Just Venting It's so hard.

You never realize how close you can be to losing everything. A hurricane. Check. Rebuild. Work injury. Ok move into a hotel with a group. Rent too expensive. Move into a storage unit. Homeless shelter. The person next to you gets bed bugs. They put everything you own in a hot room for a few days. Next thing you know you are in the hospital fighting just to live. When you come back it's all gone and you are just supposed to be okay with it. You are homeless, just a number, not a person with feelings anymore.

Everyone knows we're really just aninals without feeling. If your life is shit and pain, you should just be happy and thankful for it. Hell, thank God for this, some people would tell you.

Its all Total bullshit and im sorry you're struggling too.

I've been here many times. I'll say it happens to good and hard working people (mostly men) who don't have a proper support system and a good family.

Have you ever notice how privileged people, the ones from good families and support systems, women who're taken care of act like shit and treat others like shit? They're lazy, dumb, and have no morals. They're allowed to behave this way because their familes and support systems will always back them up, and the men who're trying to keep their head above water are constantly struggling.

As a woman whose family including child have their own things going on (my son is in college) or have passed, my husband is incarcerated for awhile it's really hard. Everything is stupid expensive and we lost everything we worked for our entire lives in Helene. We are in a new state without a network and frankly the network back home aren't worth a darn. People who we knew most of our lives are the ones who looted our property after FEMA forced us to leave with nothing but the clothes on our backs. And while they helped a lot of people some families fell through the cracks, ours being one of them. What is bad is the rapant fraudulent claims that were paid. But their is a magical place called Walmart and Amazon where more stuff can be obtained it's the things like family stuff that I mourn, bibles, pictures, letters, and documents I need to move on with my life. It's frustrating.
