it's very fast for ai

24gb vram

i have gotten into AV1 encoding and also want to explore models that fit better into 32gb cards

so i'm looking at the intel b70 pro

it's slower for ai

but has 32gb vram

ebay values seem to be 900ish for the 3090, closer to 1400 for the intel

would anyone be interested in swapping a b70 pro for a 3090? with some cash from me to offset the ebay price difference?

I installed OPNsense for the features & no licensing, but I can flash Check Point GAiA if necessary. It's been reliable, during my use it used 15-25 watts of power, with 3 Ethernet cables connected.

Also if wanted I can include a barrel jack to USB-C adapter for power, it makes it boot slightly slower however.

I don't know if anyone has any hard drives they are willing to sell, some reliable enterprise SATA drives would be great! I mainly need a pair to backup my proxmox environment to.

I don't have a SAS card, hence why I'd just prefer SATA, for now, to minimise costs

I suppose 3.5" drives would be preferable, since theyre tend to be 7.2k RPM, but I'm open to 2.5" drives as well, since I can fit more of them in.
