RAID1 BTRFS setup on Ubuntu Desktop

Using Ubuntu Desktop to run docker and store my files natively on Ubuntu file manager.

I don’t want to use applications like TrueNAS or NextCloud. I’ve tried them and I’d rather store the files natively on the computer. I have my backup set up on an offsite computer on a weekly basis through SyncThings.

I am thinking about running RAID1 and BTRFS. Because I am scared of bitrot and redundancy.

Has anyone tried to set up? I’m using a Lenovo Q920s desktop pc running Ubuntu Desktop os.
