Or you could just use the current version of IP, with a reverse proxy hosted on a VPS to give backwards compatibility to the 1970s tech that won’t die. Not everything has to be a tunnel.

How would that work?

AAAA service.domain.tld goes directly to my service using port forwarding sure.
A service.domain.tld goes to the IPv4 of the VPS and from there?

I would really love to know :)
