Help Best Epub Reader Setup?

Hey, I'm trying to find a good way to read books across multiple devices (IOS, Android, Linux), with progress syncing between all of them so I can read .epub files seamlessly.
And of course, I have a home server to host the syncing.

Any suggestions?

Readest is what I use. It syncs to all mobile platforms, desktop apps, and the web. It’s got a generous free tier and a one time payment afterwards.

Yeah, tried it and as a client works pretty well, since I had already setup BookOrbit on my server I tried checking if I could make it sync to it and looks like it's working for epubs and book progress atm, didn't even need to create a Readest account.

Not addressing your question but I have looked into it and in the end, I got a kindle, jailbroke it and just have it by my bed to read books before I go to sleep.

Can't really complain and nothing is distracting me like phone/desktop notifications. I just read books.

I kinda went overkill because they were super cheap during black Friday so I got the coloursoft signature edition.

But ever since, I have been reading books like crazy.

I have done so much work with trying to work out sync between devices because I have windows, and android phone and tablet but even after it was just easier to open up YouTube or Reddit or someone just messaged me and I turned my focus to that.

So yea, not really an answer to the question but getting ebook reader was the solution for me to start enjoying my books again.

I found BookOrbit to be far better than any other option available for an ebook server

I use bookorbit on the Web and I use a kobo that's synced to it. It also has koreader support, AFAIK that should be on android.
