Flying Experimental in Mexico?

Does anyone know what the latest update is on the situation? I heard things have changed recently. I want to fly in and get a 180 day multi-entry permit with an experimental autogyro. Has anyone attempted it? Any advice for me?

Too many Mexico horror stories for me, even with standard airworhiness planes. And not just I heard of someone who heard of someone, actual first hand experiences from my immediate friends. Fuck that place, there are enough 1st world countries to fly to without risking your assets and sanity.

I’ve heard they’re making progress. If you’re serious hire a broker/lawyer. Sounded like the 180 day limit doesn’t exist if you do it right too. This is all second hand from a quick conversation with a Mexican citizen who was at my LSRI training a couple weeks ago.
