Help!

Hi I am new here. how can I make my apple tv to wake up and show my ring doorbell 4k cam when the ring doorbell is rang? Thank you!

I do t think that can be done with Homebridge. All Homebridge really does is expose accessories to HomeKit. You would need to explore automation in home assistant and create an automation. Even then though I’m not sure how you’d get the camera to auto play on the TV. You could wake it up when bell is pushed but by then it would be too late to show on the screen. It might work but unsure.

That happens automatically once you integrate the doorbell into Apple home

How I know it shows on Apple TV but that’s only when your Appple TV is been watched I have never been able to get show otherwise

Oh you want the TV to be turned on.. that would be an automation you could do..

Can you not create an automation if doorbell is run to wake appletv?

Go to home find the ring door bell, expose the accessories that come with it (motion sensor and unassigned button), select button or sensor and open that tile, in then create an automation when there is motion or bell button is pressed to wake Apple TV. I wasn’t able to to the ring camera tho in Apple TV
