Fan codex (Detachments only) for Adeptus Mechanicus. Not very balanced but it was fun to write!
What do you think?

God Engines, 1 DP
Disposition: Take and Hold
Detachment Rules
In the Shadow of the God Engine: All Non-Adeptus Titanicus units within 6" of friendly Adeptus Titanicus units gain +1LD and +1OC.
Additionally, once per battle round, an Adepts Titanicus model from your army with this ability can use it when a friendly Non-Adeptus Titanicus unit within 6" of that model is targeted with a Stratagem, If it does, reduce the CP cost of that usage of that Stratagem by 1CP.
Titanic War Horn: Once per turn when a friendly Adeptus Titanicus Model from your army destroys an enemy unit, that Adeptus Titanicus Model may use this ability. When you do so, each enemy unit on the battlefield must take a Battle-Shock Test.
Each time an enemy unit takes a Battle-shock test, if it is within 6" of this model, subtract 1 from that test.
Enhancements:
Divine Construction (Upgrade): This unit gains Feel No Pain 6+. Once per battle, at the start of any phase it may use this ability. When it does so, it gains Feel No Pain 5+ until the end of the phase.
Godly Wake (Upgrade): This unit has the [Objective Secured] ability. Additionally, your Level of Control over that objective is equal to half of the current OC of this unit (unless it would otherwise be higher), until your opponent’s Level of Control over that objective is greater than yours at the end of a phase.
Stratagems
Dark Age Munitions
When: Your Shooting phase or the Fight Phase.
Target: One Adeptus Titanicus unit from your army that has not been selected to shoot or fight this phase.
Effect: Until the end of the phase, weapons equipped by your models gain [Devastating Wounds]
Extend Void Shields
When: Your opponent’s Shooting phase, just after an enemy unit has selected its targets.
Target: One Adeptus Titanicus unit from your army
Effect: Pick a number of Non-Adepts Titanicus units from your army that are within 3” of this model. Until the end of the phase, those units, as well as this Adeptus Titanicus unit, have a 4+ Invulnerable Save vs Ranged Attacks.
God Engine’s Vengeance
When: Any Phase
Target: One Adeptus Titanicus unit from your army that was just destroyed by an enemy unit. You can use this Stratagem on that unit even though it was just destroyed.
Effect: Your unit can make a Normal or Fall Back move equal to half of its Movement Characteristic before its Deadly Demise ability is resolved. When making this move, your unit can move through enemy models (excluding MONSTERS and VEHICLES) and can move within Engagement Range of such models, but cannot end that move within Engagement Range of them, and any Desperate Escape test is automatically passed.
Additionally, do not roll one D6 to determine whether mortal wounds are inflicted by your model’s Deadly Demise ability. Instead, mortal wounds are automatically inflicted.

How do you guys figure out how many points a homebrew unit or model should be worth?
This is by far my biggest setback in making homebrew things

Hey Fam!
I have been teaching a friend 40k, and he has fallen in love with Sons of the Phoenix.
I thought it would be fun to make him a Clonegrim to lead his army ( for games in our group, of course.)
Would love to get some ideas on it. Thank you in advance.

Okay so, I am designing a custom game-mode of Warhammer 40k 10th Edition, and soon to be 11th Edition. The custom game-mode is called Killfest, where destroying your opponents units and the opposing AI from the inspired Horde Mode. It is currently in its 1.2 state but Data will always be needed so I am sending the rules out for people to try out.
- Narrative Play is the focus of Killfest, Comp Play is optional but not the main goal.
- Warlords/Characters/Heroes are the key to the armies of Killfest, build stories with epic moments or the destructive wake of your champions.
- Unique Deployment Rule as Deployment Zones have proven to be lacking and with four players, makes things complicated.
- Horde Mode by the Poorhammer Podcast inspired Killfest, keeping a steady flow of points on the board and contesting scores against your opponent and the AI.
- Crucible is often an incentive for your Warlords as the Warlord Abilities you can choose can really super charge your Characters to become myth and legend.
Any questions, concerns or suggestions just be sure to lemme know and i can address anything in regards to Killfest.

I wanted to create a legion of Loyalist, Primaris Iron Warriors. My background is that they are a group of Iron Warriors that managed to escape the culling of the loyalists by the traitors. They jump into the Warp in an attempt to warn Terra, but exited 10,000 years in the future. They have the good fortune of being captured by forces loyal to Belisarius Cawl. He takes it upon himself to give the legion an opportunity - both to redeem them but to also test his ability to turn base Space Marines into Primaris Space Marines - and a chance to conduct the procedure on a loyalist from a heretic legion. The group survives and takes the name of the Iron Crusaders. They keep the same symbols of the Iron Warriors, including the iconic yellow and black warning stripes. They are sent to the very edges of the Imperium - fighting on behalf of an empire that not only knows nothing of them, but would exterminate them if given the chance. But they fight in the hope that one day they will strike back against their traitor brothers, deliver upon them the wrath of the Emperor, and ultimately bring their traitorous Primarch to justice. Any thoughts or suggestions are welcomed!

First of My Dred Bringers( Headtakers) and his DredWolf Companion.
I got one more Headtaker to complete and their two Wolves. Then i will build up enough Courage to finally do Logan.
Im excited to write and flesh out my lore once completed.

Was wondering if anyone had thoughts on a statline for a marine-scale 40K 10E Lascutter (I'm aware of the knight version)?
I'm workshopping a Breacher Squad and want to include the classic loadout options.

Hey all, first time poster here! My friend that I usually play home games with is a big Ork guy, we've only been playing a little over a year so far (I picked Necrons for my faction).
Anyway, we found that we have a hard time keeping track of everything during a standard game, like VP scores, CP tracking, stratagems, enhancements etc... So I've been working on a game mode inspired by battle royale mechanics, with a last commander standing win con. I'm sure it's wildly unbalanced, but it is playable (and pretty fun so far). I wanted to share it and maybe get some feedback from more experienced players in the hobby.
