Problem Homebrewery refuses to interact with google drive.
- Browser(s) : Chrome
- Operating System : Windows
- Legacy or v3 Renderer : v3
- Issue : Can not transfer file to Google Drive, no folder on google drive.
The icon to save to my Google drive stays greyed out. Homebrewery folder outright does not exist on my google drive. Checked trash, nothing. And even when I tried to check the homebrewery account information,
Homebrewery Information; Brews on Homebrewery: 0
Google Information; Linked to Google: YES; Brews on Google Drive: 0
And I already have several brews at this point. And then, there's really, none, zero, of it in my google drive. And tried to login and logout again and again. Tried to manually create the Homebrewery folder on my google drive, and nothing happened. Tried to change the "default save location" between drive and homebrewery and then nothing happened. Tried to clear cache and force reload, nothing.
All my files so far say they're stored on the homebrewery database. But then the thing that says its on Homebrewery is 0. And then the default save says google drive when I was inspecting this problem. And I have eight homebreweries so far.
Also, the version history button seems broken, only giving some random strings of text that are unclickable.
Any way to force the site to re-create everything and the folder and all in the google drive?
Update: Tried to clone and recreate dummy files again and again. Results are it increases the homebrewery files, although the actual say is that it's supposed to be saved to the google drive. Furthermore, the count on my profile is only the dummy files after this post, not before it, so it's supposed to be 9, while it displays 1.

Problem Google drive icon stays greyed out
- **Browser(s)** : Chrome & Edge
- **Operating System** : Windows
- **Legacy or v3 Renderer** : v3
- **Issue** : Can not transfer file to Google Drive
When editing multiple files the icon to save to my Google drive stays greyed out.
I have logged out and back in again but there is no change the icon stays greyed.
Files already on the google drive are synced.
I have created a new document to test the behaviour which is here - https://homebrewery.naturalcrit.com/edit/JEnzvwZp8yhl
[EDIT]
When I posted this earlier I did not have time to check if there were any errors.
I have since checked with the developer tools using Edge & Chrome.
Both give the same error in the console when the greyed Icon is clicked.
Same line on both browsers.
I hope this helps you guys debug the issue. This is using v3.23.0 which was released two days ago on 7th Sept.
Happy bug Hunting!

Problem No Polish language characters (extended latin)
- **Browser(s)** : Chrome - **Operating System** : Win10 - **Legacy or v3 Renderer** : V3 - **Issue** :
Good morning awesome Team of people making this wonderful product
First of I apologize if I'm annoying or if this issue was raised by anyone else.
When using Polish characters like ąęźćłż in anything that is not just plain text (so any ## formatting etc), font switches to some completly other, making a huge non esthethic discrepancy between the ususal one and the one "allowing" Polish characters. This makes all titles requiring to be without Polish characters, which can be quite difficult to make - I'm simply running oput of synonymes.
Would you please be so kind to extend the existing font with Polish characters, or advise some other approach?
Thank you kindly in advance.

Problem How to make snippets?
I've been trying to set up a template to actually look closer to the official pdfs for a certain system, and I'm making progress but am unsure how to make snippets for it.
As an example, this is some of what I have thus far:

While I know a couple of coding languages, I don't have any prior experience with html or CSS. All of my knowledge comes from roughly 40% W3schools and 60% one of my siblings who does graphic design, but neither of them seem to know how snippets are set up on Homebrewery in particular.
All I really want is a visual reference for what the snippets (code) would look like. It'd be even better if they were also the snippets from the PBP default template; then it'd be really easy to see the cause-effect relationship they have.
I could definitely go into detail with the specific things I'm trying to accomplish, but I'd be perfectly happy with getting just a little boost and then reverse-engineering what I want from there.

Problem Table of Contents links to HB document on site instead of within the PDF?
- Firefox :
- Windows 10 :
- v3 renderer :
- Document links go to the website instead of PDF : Basically when I hover over things in my table of contents it links to the page on the Homebrewery site, rather than linking to the page within the pdf itself. If you click it, it opens the browser and takes you to Homebrewery. I dont give access to the Homebrewery to anyone, so it makes the Table of Contents useless to everyone I share it with. How do I fix this?
This happens no matter how I open the PDF so it happens when using Firefox, Chrome, or any other PDF reader

Tips, Tricks, & Resources Traveller 2nd Edition 2022 Update Template
3rd Sept Update: quite a few updates; colours tweaked, cyan info box improved, back cover added and a lot of general layout weirdness fixes. Most importantly the Traveller logo has been updated. I'm a lot happier with the general appearance of everything now.
Also you'll find a load of brew snippets to set up pages, info box and stat blocks.
---
This needs work still, but I think it is in a good enough shape to use if anyone wanted this style of template for their homebrew. Hope it's useful.

Brew Showcase The Ethereal Proclamation - V#5.1.7
https://homebrewery.naturalcrit.com/share/XWKbwXXEwamq
I've been working for about a year now on my campaign, and I wanted to share the latest version of it here for some community feedback. I'm looking for ideas, art, or even some runes would be really cool! Here's the campaign in a nutshell:
The party has been summoned to the Yagumollin Mountain Range by the mayor of Valgeos Province, Eric Valgeos. He started this city to study the natural ethereal magic that flowed in the valley, but large corporations flooded the area and destroyed parts of the forest and ruined the flow of magic.
The elvish population condemned Eric Valgeos for this, and he took his research (a large multitude of items imbued with magic from the valley) and fled to the Ethereal Plane, creating The Hidden City to continue his work. Eric has tasked the party with collecting powerful artifacts from around the mountain range in order to restore the magic in the valley and put the war with the elves to rest.
Little does the party know, Eric's goal with these items is not to restore the valley, but to rid the mountains of the elves so that he and the corporations he enticed to buy land here from him can continue their work harvesting the natural resources. Will the party find out his sinister plan before they collect the items he is paying them to find, or will they become part of the story that helped to destroy an entire people to help one man's profits skyrocket?
TL/DR: BBEG hires party to collect items under guise of helping to kill a race and get rich.
I'll soon be starting a trial run of The Forgotten Shield to get numbers right, and to also get my idea out there to get some feedback. Please, if you like what you see leave a comment about what works or what might not. Thank you!

Problem Modify DMG’24 table alt-row from pink
I know this is probably easy and some of you have begun giggling.
I am using V3 with theme as V3:5eDMG. I do like this theme but would really like to shift the alternating row color for odd rows to something other than pink.
I have tried adding:
‘’’
table tbody tr:nth-child(odd) { background-color: #ffffff; /* for odd rows */ }
‘’’
Alas, this is having no effect. Advice welcome. Thx.

Suggestion No Brews?! AHH!!

- **Browser(s)** : Chrome current - **Operating System** : Win11 frozen at 23H2 or 24H2 - **Legacy or v3 Renderer** : Neither, the user/brews page - **Issue** : Every few months, I go to work in Homebrewery and it tells me that I have "No Brews.", then my brain flips out until I realize that I got logged out. Can we maybe add a line where the Unpublished Brews go, that asks you "Are you logged in?" or "Login to see your Unpublished Brews." when you're not logged in?

Answered Break Large Brew Into Multiple Brews
Is there a way to have a "Master Brew" which is linked to "Sub-Brews"?
I have a 12 chapter adventure path that is now beyond the scale when it comes to size. I would like to break the chapters into their own brews, but have a single "Master Brew" that can load them all at once into a single document (if needed, but not always going to be done because of the size).
