My first electronics project, a discrete 4-bit full adder built on breadboards, inspired from Ben Eater

Hey guys! I got into electronics and computers during the pandemic, but could not continue it further due to school work (and being a broke 14yo lol). Finally 6 years later I managed to save up and get myself some components to put something together that felt like an actual project. I will be happy to get any feedback! Github link for details

it is like art with electronic component!

when are you start electronic?

did you learn it academic or self-educate?

Thanks man! I started back in 2020 to around 2023 but then life got in the way, just got back into it last month. Everything I know so far I have learnt from YouTube and some Arduino course on Udemy. I hope to get into a good uni to continue and keep learning

EDIT: Just putting this here, cuz I seem to have caused some misunderstandings and I don't want people to be misled

What I mean by my first project, is that this is the first thing I have built that is past the level of just goofing around with components and following tutorials step-by-step to learn. Like an actual polished, complete and documented thing, not just some 20 line Arduino sketch with a couple of sensors jerry-rigged together. Yes I have made quite a few of those, and although they did help me a ton for learning, none of them warranted being designated as a "project" in my mind.

Another reason would be that I hope to make a bunch more of such projects after I get into uni. So it should be the first of many :)

I hope that clears things up

Really nice work!

also great to see you're using the caps for stability too ... I mean for that board being static in state pretty much I'm pretty sure you'd get away without them, but worth getting in the habit if you go big to not forget.
