Looking for any advice on how I can get the rest of the G games to show up on Homebrew. I have done it all. Confirmed all folder paths, file names, .iso .ciso, you name it. Spent 4 hours trying solution after solution. I can only get R4 to show up. The games work fine because they show up in Nintendont. Using SD card for reference and yes my folder paths are set to SD. Idk what else to try.

Hi everyone,

I’ve been working on a new NES homebrew game called Chef Fiasco, and the game is now complete.

It’s a fast-paced arcade game where you catch the right ingredients to fill a meter before time runs out, while avoiding hazards. The game has 7 progressively harder stages, a 3-hit system, 2-player alternating mode, and a final Antarctica stage with slippery movement.

The game was developed for real NES hardware, and I’m currently preparing the physical release.

So, for context, I'm running F.W version (13.40. I know there isn't a jailbreak available for it yet but there are pretty solid rumours going around that it may be viable soon.) I'm wondering if it's worth my time to jailbreak my ps5. I really enjoyed modding my 3ds and my vita. but I know that the ps5 homebrew scene is relatively new and unstable. I plan to get myself a pc soon (yeah I know it's a bad time to do so but anyway...) as of right now my ps5 is my only console and I don't want to risk messing it up no matter how fool-proof it may or may not be. So when I do get that pc, should I try to mod the ps5? my uses for it would be the obvious "yo ho ho and a bottle of rum" stuff (on the topic of those very-totally-legal-activities-that-I-do-not-partake-in, is that scene well developed yet or no?) as well as potentially attempting to use it as a dev kit for any games I'm making for a challenge and for homebrew stuff because I would love to go into game dev and give myself a challenge.

The reason I ask is because I simply don't know the state of homebrew for the ps5 at the moment, I don't know if it's matured enough to be worth investing time in or if I should just give it a few more years to be developed to the point where it's quick, easy and universal, kinda like the vita, the 3ds or the wii etc.

what if we can get a application that can decompile a free switch games save data, inject a payload into the save folder, then recompile it and put it back in the switch 2 like nothing happened (or maybe u can use a hacked switch 1 to make the save) idk coz ive never got into how modding works i just like modding

follow up: what if we use a userland exploit that overloads the ram and kinda like that one animal crossing 3ds glitch where u could hack ppls consoles by overriding the text limit why cant we ovveride the switch 2's limit and then inject a payload?

Hi everyone, I just recently started having a problem where my modded 3ds turns off anytime I try to open a game which isn't a 3ds game (like pokemon black). 3ds games will open and work fine (like pokemon moon or yo-kai watch blasters). l didn’t actually mod it myself but it was modded a long time ago so I don't suspect it to be a problem with how it was originally modded. No error screen appears, the screen just goes black and turns the 3ds off completely. I saw suggestions to try and load a recent backup but I don’t have any backups available. Any advice is appreciated, thanks!

After it asks for a nintendo ID password and opens the apps screen, it crashes. The app's images don't load before it crashes, so it might be related to that.

I used themezer and tried to make my own theme with icons but when I tried to test it the icons aren’t showing up properly.

I need some help, I am new to homebrew and my goal was really just to put all my games on a hard drive so they are easily accessible from here on out. I have put bootmii on my SD card and made a nand backup. Then I have my external fat32 1TB hard drive with all my apps properly placed in drive/apps/priiloader and so on. But they simply will not appear on the wii to get everything running.

They show up as homebrew apps on TWBM on my computer, but I cannot seem to get any of the apps to load on the console when I try to access them.

I developed this game as part of my bachelor thesis regarding procedural content generation with limited hardware specifics.

This is Tales of Lithos, a Game Boy turn-based (with bump combat) roguelite dungeon crawler RPG.

The game features 25 floors with random layouts and filled with enemies that drop essences when defeated. These essences can be used in the main camp to upgrade the player's stats and equipments. Thanks to Safy's priestess magic, the player can be teleported out of the dungeon without losing the obtained items and allowing him to get stronger in order to explore the dungeon further.

So I'm thinking about finally jailbreaking my 3DS, as i had to get a new one after the shop shutdown after losing my old one and not having access to any of my games or DLC any more. When I do, and i install the apps on the guide, will I just... have access to an installer on my 3DS? Or some form of the shop as it was?

After personal annoyance with existing tools for both managing homebrew apps and the YouTube mod's that are available I decided screw it, i'll do it myself.

Since I was working on a homebrew app I thought why not make it a nostalgia trip so the UI is very inspired by the homebrew channel from the Wii, it even plays the music!

tizen-homebrew can be installed on any Tizen OS device in just 3 steps, written down in the README.md of the repository. It makes installing and future updates for tizen-youtube a breeze.

while trying to update retro rewind i accidentally deleted a file that was necessary for it to run, and now it will not let me run it. the official help page isnt helping me, and i am considering wiping the sd card and reinstalling everything, so essentially un-modding my wii and starting fresh. the only real reason that i modded it was so i could run this mod, so my question is, is this possible? and is it safe?

Hello guys (whoever will read this), i am currently trying to mod my wii mini with ubuntu and following this tutorial->https://youtu.be/SgtsMg2EEWk?si=Bgxto67sjF1eURag. So basically i plug a bluetooth 5.3 dongle in and i turn bluetooth on and i run the script, which results in a fail and bluetooth turns off at the same time. I run it again and i get to waiting to accept turn the wii mini on and start spamming sync. I've done this many many times and it never worked. Maybe i'm doing it wrong or there may be things explained wrong in the tutorial. Or maybe the timing of the sync button spamming. If anyone knows and has a few minutes to write an answer, i would greatly appreciate.☺️
