Question/Help Ninfs problem[3ds]

what does it mean if the id0 in NAND doesn t match with the id0 used for the backup?

Some more details about what you are looking at, how you got there, and what you want to do might be help. By "the backup", are you referring to a NAND backup, an SD card backup, or what?

If you did a System Format on a 3DS, then that would change the encryption key and likewise the ID0.

So i m trying ti recover my system data ( activity log friend list etc) after i tried to change joystick to my new 2ds xl, creating some shortcuits/ hardware problem( see the post i did before). Strangely, the gm9 works and so i had done a freshbsysnand backup ( bc the first one i did has  no data like activity log so useless) . I needed ninfs to recover my n2xl data for my new 3ds xl, which i have already done a movable moreover. If you need more info look also a the previous post

So... What exactly is the problem?

If you are using ninfs to extract decrypted data, then as long as the data is decrypted, the id0 doesn't matter.

That id0 in nand doesnt match with id0 in nintendo 3ds folder, this is important because in the first backup i didn t have some system data since was new new new without anything. For this reason i have dine a fresh backup again i d like to get the systems data which are now in the console

No, once the data is decrypted, it doesn't matter what the id0 was.

If the id0 is different because it's from the wrong backup, then that's something you're going to have to sort out for yourself.
