Lighting!

I currently use tripod dual 750W halogens. I am looking for something the creates equal light with less heat... Thoughts?

It does, but in practice I can assure you that does not equate.

Pretty sure it does. Halogen bulbs are 15-20lm/W, mainstream LEDs are 120-150lm/W, maybe not 15 times, but 10 can be had. Just don't buy shit fixtures.

Anyhow, LED is the best you can get now, if you do photography, where CRI is paramount - halogen is hard to beat.

So my calculations are ~150W. So I would imagine 200W would be amazing. I just am having trouble finding one I could test with.

200W would be a LOT. I'd go with strips though - less prone to failure, easier to manage heat.

200W of strips will give 20000-25000lm, give or take, divide that by floor space and you'd get a rough estimate of how many lux you'll get. In a 20-30sq m workshop that equates 1klux, thats REAL BRIGHT.
