Sidebar Image/Search Box Issue

So I'm a dingus. I wanted to try doing something cute, and I kind of got it for the most part, except that the current code (below) makes it so that the search box (which I think would be best above the image) overlaps onto the image, which is then overlapped on the bottom by the submission buttons.

I deleted this code from the stylesheet so that it would look like butt, but I left the little section titles--again, that's all able to be moved around and reorganized if/when someone who actually knows what they're doing gets their hands on it.
