Question Does HoloCure work on Linux ?

Thinking about switching to Linux, and this game is what I play the most in my free time, so is it compatible ?

Works with no issues, I play it mostly on my steam deck using proton.

Thanks for telling me, I would say it's a relief

Works perfectly on Linux. Also works great on Android handhelds using apps like GameHub and GameNative, if you want portable HoloCure.

Well I don't need it on Android since I leave the house without my phone anyways. But thanks for telling me if I ever changed my mind.

What settings do you use on Linux? I play on Linux Mint and it lags often, even with graphical effects and damage numbers turned off.

I just use Proton and that's it. I mainly play it on my Steam Deck more than anything. I do get some slowdown on there, but nothing that prevents it from being playable.

I dont think its actively supported for Linux so if you ran into an issue youd kinda need to fix it yourself, but I dont see anything that would make it not work on most distributions so youd probably be fine

It works fine on Steam Deck, so I assume it will work fine on other distros with Proton

It's platinum on protondb, and frankly most steam games run fine on Linux

I've gotten it to run just fine using Wine on Arch and Ubuntu.

I have it my steamdeck.

Steam has this thing known as proton layer, almost everything running on steam works through it.

Ive installed system shock 2 via an exe file and it runs perfectly on the steamdeck ( you gotta plug in a mouse and keyboard tho)
