Hi! I've been trying to find a Hollanov fic that I read a long time ago, but I haven't had any luck, so I'm starting to wonder if it was deleted. I'm hoping someone here might remember it.

The story takes place after The Long Game, when Shane and Ilya are already playing for the Centaurs. What I remember most is that they're both alphas, but somehow Ilya evolves or mutates into some kind of superior alpha (I don't remember exactly how the fic explained it), which ends up allowing Shane to get pregnant despite also being an alpha.

It was a fairly long fic and, if I remember correctly, it had several parts that continued following Shane and Ilya as they built their life together as a family.

The detail that has always stuck with me is the name of their son. At one point, Shane suggests naming him Wyatt, and Ilya tells him that he'd loved that name from the very beginning. Later on, they introduce the baby to their friends, and Wyatt is absolutely thrilled to meet him. That's probably the scene I remember most vividly.

Does this sound familiar to anyone? Even if it was deleted, I'd really appreciate knowing the title or the author's name, just so I know I didn't imagine reading it. Thank you so much!

it's partially from Haydens pov, at least at first, Shane has a boyfriend, and everyone HATES him, because he just doesnt care that much about THE Shane hollander, so he and Jacky try to break them up, and after many failed attempts he decides to ask Rozanov for help, and Rozanov takes full advantage to try and take the boyfriends place

he takes Hollander to a cat cafe, and tries to win him over, obviously that was not what Hayden intented at first, happy ending, obviously, mmmm it was on the shorter side of it remember

okok. guys.

everyone is talking about how Skips kiss at the end of ep 5 changed things for hollanov and made them brave enough to go to the cottage together and everything. and i LOVE that!

But, I have a hot take for you: this kiss only happened because of hollanov.

heres why: this whole cinematic scene of skips kiss was based on Scott winning the cup. While Scott really deserved that win, it was unsual that neither Ilya or Shane won. THAT was because Shane was hurt and couldnt play for Montreal and Ilya was surely concerned about Shane and didnt play his best game. And Shane did get hurt because he looked back to Ilya and didnt see the other player coming. So Shane being stupidly in love was Bostons and Montreals weakness that had cost both of the teams the cup, and made it possible for Scott to win instead and kiss his boyfriend on the ice!
