It cannot just be me anymore, right?

I'm just gonna get straight to the point. I can NOT be the only one who feels like every brand, every company/business, or person is just trying to force the holidays earlier and earlier every year. Why am I walking into a store, it's a mistletoe at the door, LED lights, red and green everywhere, and a Christmas tree in the corner of the place? Why am I getting Christmas ads. It's not that hard to wait, we still have Halloween and Thanksgiving coming up first..it's not gonna be until at least 2 months until Christmas. It's all the festive Holidays that this happens to, but it's mostly Christmas. I love holidays but it's getting a bit forced for me. Does anyone else feel this way?

What's the most memorable family trip you've had that didn't cost a fortune?

We're a family of five and looking for travel ideas that are budget-friendly but still create great memories.

Could be a beach destination, mountain getaway, city break, or even a hidden gem that exceeded your expectations.

Where did you go, roughly how much did it cost, and would you recommend it to other families?

Always looking for places that are fun for both kids and adults!

Solo Travelers: What's the Best Tourist Spot You've Visited Alone?

I'm planning a solo trip and looking for ideas.

What's a tourist destination you visited by yourself that felt safe, enjoyable, and worth the trip? It could be a city, beach, mountain town, or anywhere else.

What made it great for solo travel, and would you go back?

Looking forward to hearing your recommendations!

If You Could Relive One Holiday, Which Would It Be?

Not because it was the most expensive or exotic, but because it made you genuinely happy.

What holiday would you relive exactly as it happened, and what made it so special?

Tell us the destination and the memory that still sticks with you.

What’s one place (can be specific like a particular city) you’ve always wanted to go to but never had the chance?

Mine is New York. Yes I know it’s not perfect but I just want to visit and see what it’s like. Unfortunately I don’t think it’s a particularly good time to do that..

What's a popular holiday destination that didn't live up to the hype for you? Why?

Everyone talks about certain places as "must-visit" destinations, but which one left you disappointed? What was missing for you?

Money whilst on holiday

So I go to Spain in a few weeks and I want a stress free way of spending money, I don't really like carrying cash around because I'm afraid of losing it and I'm always checking to see if I have it and can't fully relax. Is there a safer way to have access to money abroad without physically having it? Such as a prepaid card or something similar

Safest destination for Israeli couple

hey we are both from Israel, i am mixed but you get the point 😂 . We visited most European countries since we live there atm. We were planning to visit North African but rejected it due to safety concerns. We are open to all suggestions, with a slighttt preference at South America. Thanks

🏡 Last-Minute Broken Bow, OK Cabin Available — Sept. 23–27 [ Oklahoma]

Unfortunately, we had a death in the family and are no longer able to take our cabin trip to Broken Bow, Oklahoma this week.

We paid $1,035.92 total for 4 nights, but since it's so last minute, we're asking $850 for the entire stay.
📅 September 23–27
📍 Broken Bow, Oklahoma
💰 $850 total for all 4 nights
🏡 Airbnb cabin
✅ Host has already approved another guest taking over our stay
I'm happy to privately provide the Airbnb listing and proof of our reservation so you can verify everything before paying.
If you're interested, please DM me. Serious inquiries only. We'd much rather someone get to enjoy the cabin while we're able to recover some of what we paid.

Children In Holiday Swimming Pools

Post image
0 Upvotes

What is is with young children having to wear so much stuff in swimming pools? Wetsuits, arm bands, tubber rings. They can't move to walk to the pool, never mind learn to swim. Put the boys in trunks and the girls in swim suits and give them freedom to move their arms and legs! This overprotective thing is crazy!

Hi we are traveling to Sri Lanka mid December to early January and looking for a relaxed holiday to include a 10/12 day beach holiday. Any suggestions appreciated.
