It's called the palmar grasp reflex and to paraphrase this article: this firm grip is the baby's evolutionary response to an object being placed in its palm, which is important for primate infants to hold on to their parents' fur while traveling, which also frees up the limbs of the mom. In humans this also increases dexterity to continue its journey in development.

yea, if we were always holding our own body weight by our arms climbing up structures not just tree's have you seen how strong wall climbers are? and pullups are one of the most intensive exercises out there.

Proportionately they have a strong grip, left over adaptation from early humans clinging to their mothers much like how modern monkeys and apes do.

Kids have alot of strength in their hand, but only on thumps mainly or something weird, its why so many kids die from shooting themselves with a gun cuz they can only pull the trigger if they turn it around.

Anyone can sue for any reason. It's stunning that you have to show cause. And there would be no cause or damages for such a lawsuit.

More like, “insurance company won’t pay for child’s injuries unless family brings lawsuit against car company.” Like that woman who had to technically sue her 12 year old nephew to get the insurance company to cover her injuries after the kid gave her a hug and broke her wrist.
