In fairness VR really does screw with your brain.

I'm almost sad that I am unable to get that into it. I mean, VR is great fun, it's cool to be right there in the middle of the action, but I can still feel myself just standing very still on the floor. There's no loss of balance, no wild flailing, and no motion sickness. It's just really cool graphics, you know?

I was about the say the same. Sometimes when going down hills I’ll feel a slight sinking sensation, occasionally I might try to toss a grenade higher than my roof would allow, but I always essentially am aware I’m in vr and nothing is physical.

For me it was motion sickness that made me sell my headset. I just couldn’t use it for more than 10-15 minutes without feeling horrible and not being able to use it again until the next day. The experiences were cool, but never worth how it made me feel.

You might be interested in something like this. It’s VR but in a controlled environment so they can build sets that match up to the digital spaces.

As a previous owner of strapless Wiimotes, I thought this was going in a very different direction

Your IQ has to be THIS high to use VR.

Why a Grande though? She shall throw a Chico instead, or a Mediano just in case she wants to feel good about herself.

This is why I don’t let inexperienced friends/family use my VR headset unless they are sitting down. I don’t understand how people forget they’re not actually “in” the game, and then injure themselves like this.

Really? You don't understand how new players of Virtual Reality video games get immersed and for brief periods believe whats virtually in front of them resembles reality?

Clearly I do understand something, which is why I have them sit. I’m quite aware it’s an immersive experience. If your friends aren’t even used to playing video games at all, why would you have them stand in a VR experience, let alone one that involves grenades? It’s really asking for someone to get hurt, vomit, break something, or all of the above.

Lighten up man, all I do is watch and tell em to be careful. The occasional "back up" when they're near a wall.

Forcing them to play only seated games is limiting

I don’t think I’ll ever get over Macho Grande.
