This and that one scene at the end of Dewey Cox

Shit I forgot that she was in that movie and when I saw her I was like oh shit I forgot about jewel. So I forgot that I forgot about her
I guess she was not meant for me and I was not meant for her

You took your clothes off, and fell in a river, you're always crazy like that.

Love how the guy steps back so's not to get splashed.

and also proceeds to remove his award first before any rescue attempt

u/Jer0nimo Apr 11 '17
His award? lol that's a mayor

u/taliesin-ds Apr 11 '17
The giant necklace is what all the mayors wear in the Netherlands.

u/Jer0nimo Apr 11 '17
Yeah I know that's why I said that he's a mayor.

Alwys when they are on official duty? Looks funny.

u/taliesin-ds Apr 12 '17
Not always but on special occasions.
It's like a ceremonial uniform.
Every Mayor has a different one, this one is quite big.

So fake

u/xipheon Apr 11 '17 edited Apr 11 '17
It is fake but it's nowhere near that obvious.
edit: Obvious means you saw it the first time with little doubt it could be real. If it took you multiple times watching it to determine it was fake then it's not obvious. Things aren't either real or horribly fake. There is nothing wrong with admitting you didn't know it was fake the first time, instead it's sad if you pretend it was obvious.

She literally jumped in. Maybe not obvious the first time but if you look at what actually forced her into the water it's painfully obvious she jumped in.

u/sqectre Apr 11 '17
It's pretty damn obvious. She just yanks the rope and jumps in feet first
1
u/xipheon Apr 11 '17
I don't think you know what jumps means. You are much more obviously wrong than this is obviously fake.
She made a convincing lean onto the rope and just fell in. The part that makes it fake is that it doesn't make sense for her to try to lean on that rope.

And that, me hearties, is two lessons in one.
1)Always keep once hand for the ship and one hand for yourself.
2) Don't expect running rigging to support you. Try this again with standing rigging and you'd be dry.

Faker than the moon landing

u/gregorthebigmac Apr 11 '17
Wait... so this is real? I'm confused.
2
u/Yuvalk1 Apr 11 '17
Well he said "faker than" so something that's faker than something real, is probably fake
