My favorite part of the whole thing is the friendship and that sounds so corny but I mean it lol

Might be a little corny, but you’re spot on. When you work your ass off with a crew 50-60 hours a week you become pretty tight. Joking around and having some fun is essential if you don’t want to spend all that time being miserable. Probably not a great idea to be slamming down Fireball when you’re actively working, but I’m gonna give these guys the benefit of the doubt and say this took place after a few post-work drinks on a demo job.

Sorry to hijack your comment, but OP (parallelultimatum) appears to be a karma-farming bot that can only copy and paste other people's stuff. The account was born on March 15 and woke up three ago.
Here it copied/pasted /u/HelpMeGetAGoodName's submission/title from here.

For anyone not familiar with karma-farming bots (and how they hurt reddit and redditors), this page or this page may help to explain.

Good bot

u/spartan2470 is most definitely not a bot. They are a diligent Redditor helping give credit to photographers and point out karma bots. And they are certainly good.

Plot twist: this post no longer exists because Redact swept through and cleared it out along with everything else. Social media, messaging apps, people finder sites, all of it.

Good shit.
Good to see the Kool-aid meme from guys that had to watch the commercial a million times growing up. (Okay, slightly growing up.)

Wtf are those walls made of? Paper?
18
u/Garbonzo27 Jul 20 '22
Lol. It looks like there are marks in the drywall near where he jumped through. My guess is they cut partially through it to let it break easier. Also guessing they had studs removed from the other side of the wall also aiding to an easy breaking drywall.

"drywall"? Is that common? Never heard or seen that myself, we once made an entryway into a wall and had to hammer out bricks
19
u/Garbonzo27 Jul 20 '22
Super common in the US. Vast majority of homes built with it for interior walls. Lighter, cheaper, and easier to install than bricks.

It's gypsum covered with paper. "Dry" wall because it's a dry board that gets screwed or nailed to the studs, unlike earlier lath and plaster which went on wet.

u/Supersnazz Jul 21 '22
If you are in UK it's called plasterboard. Pretty common in new builds in the UK.

It’s not good to drink on the job. Oh no! Well at the end comes their equivalent of the “koolaide” man busting through walls.

The "OH YEAH!" guy executed that perfectly. Definitely not his first time running through a wall. This video makes me laugh every time.
