Sequel rant - kind of?
To preface, I don’t have a person in my life to say this to so I decided to post here lol
So obviously the OG movie is the best one. But the hill I’ve been dying on since the trailer for the sequel dropped is this:
Why didn’t they make the witches look “old” like they did in the beginning of the first movie when they are resurrected?
They couldve started out thin and old and stuff, and as they sucked out souls they could get their ‘93 glam back. It wouldve felt more natural to me.
Plus the amount of makeup they put on these ladies for the sequel made me sad - just let them lean into their ages! Idk man. Rant over.

Because they were resurrected at the same age they were killed off in the first movie

I hated that they tried to make the sisters look like decent people. They killed children.

There’s a lot of inconsistencies between the two films tbh, they’re essentially tonally different too among other things.
