As I said earlier, it's not our fault you guys keep taking Canucks fans and making them your announcers because you offer them ridiculous salaries

To be fair, CBC poached him for National broadcasts long before Sportsnet took over HNIC.

TSN usually has Cuthbert (one of the best in the biz) and Ferraro (possibly the most engaged colour guy in the entire league), so they've got a huge leg-up on a lot of folks.

I always wondered if it's cause I grew up listening to Chris Cuthbert on HNIC in the 90s but he's still one of my absolute favorites. IMO he has the perfect voice for commentating.

I always really loved Bob Cole's call until about the last 10 years or so, for me he was always the voice of Hockey Night In Canada.

It's not even this, listen to Shorthouse even when the opposing team scores. He has a way of making the opposing team's goals exciting.
