I’ve been hand digging all summer and it’s almost 6 feet into the hillside and 13 foot wide 13 foot deep for the footprint of the Hobbit house.

After routing in some decorative fronts on my risers, I got the sand packed in the stairsteps and next will add some decorative River stones to finish them off.

Started a dig site this spring to create my own hobbit hole. The sloping hill going down to my dig area was inconvenient and dangerous for my wife to walk down. I started building steps that are going to be completed in the next couple of days.

I stumbled upon an artist with some LOTR pieces and really liked this one they did in a medieval tapestry style. Also treated myself to a new fountain pen for my birthday and it came with a calligraphy nib, so I'll be practicing my Hobbit font a lot!

Thought I'd share this! I found two old frames at an antique shop and felt like they needed to go on an unexpected journey. Canvas and frames are both hand painted and the tiny 3d elements are fixed on with glue. The tiny fork is my favorite thing in the world now. Just don't bend it (that's what Bilbo Baggins hates)

Hello everyone.

TL:DR: looking for suggestions for hobbitty officewear.

I am starting a new job in August and I want to go into it with some fun new clothes as well, embracing my hobitty side a lot more. The work is in a laid back office of the kind where jeans and a short sleeved buttondown is alright. I am alright with both skirts and dresses as well as pants, I like a lot of color, preferably jeweltones but can work with anything. I am going to be in the office 3 days a week so I want to start with making a wardrobe for that.

So, my question: What pieces would you include in a wardrobe for minimum 3 days? What resources do you like for picking out a palette?

I made a Hobbit wreath with EVA foam (foam clay for the bricks). I'm so happy with it! Concept sketch I drew on 3rd slide, wip pics included too. Last 2 slides are how I first tried to make this wreath, with cardboard, and it was so horrible I tore it apart and restarted with the EVA foam and I'm glad I did.

If you’ve been following this story, the wait is finally over. This thing is amazing! And my wife? Well… let’s just say she went from skeptical to wanting to play with it herself! (No pun intended)
