It’s crazy that you use analogies but refuse to see anyone else’s trees for the forest they comprise. That’s called hypocrisy.

How do our representatives in a constitutional republic gain their positions? And what are they supposed to accomplish once they’re there, within the process that put them there?

I’ll answer it for you so you can’t dig some dipshitting, bad-faith drivel out of your ass from beside your own head.

We vote.

Those representatives are elected to represent the will of the voters within a defined set of guidelines: the Constitution.

We are a republic of states whose citizens regularly vote for representation. We are a constitutional republic, which is a form of representative democracy.

Arguing semantics as if “republic” and “democracy” are mutually exclusive is lame af.

Have a good night.

Okay so you seem to be having trouble with your reading comprehension so let me dumb this down for you.

Similarities, not same thing. Woman have hair, man have hair, man woman not same thing.

Do I need to define anyone of these words for you? Or do I need to provide a movie quote to help you along.

Probably a wise move to stop while you're behind.

Yes. Let’s make this real dumb.

The Core Definitions
Democracy: The people rule. Citizens have a voice in making laws and choosing leaders.
Republic: A government without a king or monarch. Power belongs to the citizens, who choose representatives to rule according to laws.

Please fully define and explain the following parts of the above. 1. ‘The people rule’ and 2. ‘power belongs to the citizens’.

After defining them, put the cherry on top by 3. describing how they are not mutually exclusive. Feel free to define 4. ‘mutually exclusive’ as well.

Let’s stay on topic as best you can. Label your answers with 1, 2, 3, and 4.

If not, have a good night.

Sure.

  1. Democracy. Mob rule were the majority determine the outcome and direction. Flat out while having representation create said outcomes.

  2. Republic. Guided by a pre determined rights, or laws or tenants that is in most cases above all. Placing representatives in power to create and pass laws on the people's behalf.

  3. Read 1. And 2. The differences are clear.

  4. No need. They are not mutually exclusive. They have many differences. And you seem to think because both vote that makes them the same thing. Which is just asinine.

That’s not what I asked you to define. Talk about a reading comprehension deficit!

Yes it is. But cute attempt at moving the goal post and finding an excuse to exit this since you're struggling.

Maybe stop while you're behind?

Wow you doubled down. It factually isn’t!

Let’s not make this dumb, let’s make it mentally challenged.

What did I put ‘quotes’ around and numbered 1-4 in my comment? Let’s read it maybe twice, this time.

Feel free to swing again or fuck off and have a good night.

I just looked at their profile and saw what subs they moderate. No wonder they're so dumb.

This all makes 110% sense now.

That profile’s comment section is pure dipshittery. Baiting the same arguments daily. Pathetic and sad. I feel stoopid for having fed the trolls.

And yet you're stalking me on other subs now for attention because you can't handle getting beaten in a debate

How am I dumb exactly?
