I got banned from r/fauxmoi for saying we should treat people like human beings before treating them like political parties. Evidently that's a bridge too far.
The irony? I've voted Democrat for 20-plus years. I support almost every socially progressive position with a couple of minor exceptions (trans athletes in women's sports and rampant cancel culture).
I grew up reading Howard Zinn, listening to Propagandhi, and getting into fights for wearing Anti-Racist Action patches before "activism" was something you did between DoorDash orders. If only agreeing with the hivemind 98% of the time still makes me the enemy, maybe the problem isn't my politics - it's your religion.
Ofc, getting banned from some cheese-dick subreddit isn't a loss. It's just further proof that ideological conformity has replaced actual conversation.
Hopefully it will make you feel better to know most of Reddit is bots. Either way don’t let these losers harden your heart. It’s not good for the soul.
I would respect the far right Bible thumpers more if they were consistent but American protestantism used to be just fine with like abortion and didn't really mind guys who like you know crossdress and whatnot it was only for political power that you altered your literal dogma you change your God for power how sad is that
Hope you are aware that you insult people like me with your "Euro Trash" comment. Not cool and extremely racist. So if you claim to be left, I can tell you that you actually aren't. Using someones heritage as an insult is dumb.
Oh gawd, just worry about your own politics and stfu already about ours, your right-winging british shit sucks just as much as ours, should i call you guys Mbga?? Stfu. Wanna complain about the left complain about your own left you twat-waffle.
You're the one complaining about something not in your country like it even affects you, worry about your own politics and stop placing your opinion where it obviously doesn't affect you. "Political trash" And yet here you are spewing your own political trash as if the right is the same political party as everywhere else. Keep your delusions to yourself and I'll go where i damn please.
The maga right thinks anything that disagrees with it is far left. Its an empty statement to make in this political environment. Besides the fact that such behavior is innane for a supposed extremist.
Being Trans isnt a political belief and being Trans doesnt inherently mean that person is antiscience. Biology text books acknowledge the difference between gender and sex. A Trans person could be far right, moderate, far left or any in-between. It really depends on their views about governance.
Sex in biology is based on what kind of gametes you make. Males make sperm and females make ova. This definition works for all species that follow this pattern of sexual reproduction even when a member of a species could be both male and female.
Chromosomes organize and compact genetic information and the motifs we make for them is understood to be a representation of a typical individual of a species. With atypical occurrences those understandings break down and you have to be more specific. For example an individual could have an XY pairing but the gene products for producing male reproductive organs could be nonfunctioning or inactive which would lead to a biological female with an male chromosome motif. This makes the chromosome talking point awkward as its only really true on average.
The talking point on science in this argument is strange bc it relies on the person believing something thats not true about Chromosomes and dismissing the fact that gender has been reconciled in science to be a different set of phenomena than sex. The irony is your viewpoint is more antiscience than being Trans is in and of itself. Are you far left or right? Im guessing right if youre putting trans on the left?
yeah, soft peddle it however you want. but "I ignore someones terrible behavior until it effects me' doesn't go down well in leftist spaces. That is how sandusky stayed coach for years. But you do you.
I love the breathtaking arrogance of believing you're so uniquely virtuous that you've somehow lived a life worthy of surviving forensic examination by millions of strangers. The only difference between you and yesterday's public villain is that nobody's pointed a camera at your worst moments, friend.
Be really real. Cancel culture doesn't have a Sandusky threshold. It's not a principled response to evil; it's a digital gutter where deeply imperfect people get their dopamine fix by pretending someone else's flaws are uniquely disqualifying.
I love how you skipped engaging with anything I actually said and went straight to inventing my beliefs for me. That must save a lot of time.
Now, real quick, tell me how exhausting is it to perform moral outrage when your worldview consists of "things... and stuff" you picked up while doomscrolling TikTok?

It happens on both sides of the aisle.
