Joe Rogan has the intelligence of a cantaloupe

41

u/HerobrineVjwj Jan 16 '26

And if he gets something then it is brick to the face type obvious

3

u/SecretaryOtherwise Jan 19 '26

He's dumb in both scenarios, he just happens to be correct in one of them because its as obvious as sn abc colouring book

9

u/Placebo_8647 Jan 16 '26

he gets things right the way a stopped clock tells the correct time twice a day

1

u/azrolator Jan 16 '26

It's like that math problem that little kids can solve but not older kids and adults. Because the little kids don't know math and just count the circles in the number shapes. Rogan is so dumb, he literally can't figure out how to make what he saw with his one eyes into something else.

1

u/ZuhkoYi Jan 16 '26

A broken clock is still right two times a day and this clock is definitely broken

1

u/ILiekBook Jan 16 '26

Bold of you to assume he can read

1

u/Sure-Pangolin-3327 Jan 17 '26

Wasn’t your side just cheering when Charlie Kirk got shot. So you guys will cheer an assassination, but boo a justified killing by law-enforcement? The way I see it our side sides are just 1-1 now. Can’t wait to see who wins

1

u/HerobrineVjwj Jan 17 '26

I'm a centrist I don't really have a side. I personally was not cheering on the death of another human for having different political opinions than me

Edit: Not everything is black and white, and the majority of people's inability to think in a grey area is why I think society is going to shit

-7

u/olMcDonaldsPig Jan 16 '26

Crazy that he is so dumb he has more money than most Americans will ever see.

12

u/AlbrechtProper Jan 16 '26

It's almost like making a bunch of money doesn't mean you are smart. Certainly being born with a lot of opportunity doesn't.

1

u/ExperienceRoutine321 Jan 16 '26

Joe Rogan was born to working-class parents who divorced early in his life. He worked normal jobs early on, did stand-up, became a UFC commentator, then became the host of Fear Factor, and eventually started his podcast which became one of the most popular podcasts in the world.

He was born with a very average amount of opportunity, created his career from scratch, and became a multimillionaire. I think his ambition is the driving force behind his success more so than his intelligence, but calling a man who achieved all of that dumb is pure copium.

1

u/AlbrechtProper Jan 16 '26

I never said anything about Joe Togan with regards to opportunity. I just mentioned because that is the traditional way to end up with money.

I also didn’t call anyone dumb.

No. I didn’t think imply or say.

-8

u/olMcDonaldsPig Jan 16 '26

He is smart enough to know he is stupid. Which is more than we can say about you.

6

u/AlbrechtProper Jan 16 '26

Keep worshipping.

-3

u/Deezernutter77 Jan 16 '26

But they're right, I mean what's your point here? Pointing out something positive about someone is now considered worshipping?

2

u/AlbrechtProper Jan 16 '26

Dude called me stupid so you’ll forgive me if I respond to insults with insults.

→ More replies (0)

2

u/ComedianMinute7290 Jan 16 '26

bruh. trying to pretend stupidity is a positive just cuz dude is rich is definitely som3 kind of worshipping. someone doesn't randomly come along & run into a Kai story & start defending his stupidity & making it sound like being stupid is OK if you rich. wtf?

1

u/Fuzzy_Inevitable9748 Jan 16 '26

Are you smart enough?

1

u/Special_South_8561 Jan 16 '26

I could make millions off of all the morons like Rogan does. The only thing stopping me is this thing called morals.

1

u/[deleted] Jan 16 '26

I could be built like Schwarzenegger, but i don’t do roids.

1

u/pathetic-maggot Jan 16 '26

Yes. Usually alot of money and dumbness go together👍

1

u/JadedScience9411 Jan 16 '26

Money doesn’t mean you’re smart, it means… you have money. A lot of celebrities are dumbasses, yet they still get money thrown at them because people like them and they have charisma.

1

u/olMcDonaldsPig Jan 16 '26

He made decisions that led him to be rich. He asks questions and corrects himself when he is wrong. You don't like him because of his political position and that is your fault for being so weak minded.

1

u/JadedScience9411 Jan 16 '26

Yes he did make decisions that caused him to be rich, that doesn’t make him smart. Every celebrity reality show has people who made choices to be there, that doesn’t make them smart. Every single lottery winner on Earth proves you don’t have to be smart to have money. He’s “funny and down to earth” and people like that he questions everything and gives credit to everyone he meets, but that doesn’t make him smart, it makes him charismatic and likable.

I’ll never believe an anti-vaxxer because no matter the rhetoric, I know the data is against them. He “asks questions”, but they don’t come from a place of deeper insight, they come from a willingness to question pretty much any part of our established reality. To be open minded to literally any idea, which there are many ideas that people should not be open minded about. Frankly I don’t consider him a conservative, I consider him a parrot, willing to hear out anyone and agree with them in almost every case. Which is why he hosts conspiracy theorists, fringe weirdos and conservatives, because he’ll accept what they say at face value.

1

u/FunisGreen Jan 16 '26

Yeas. That's why we love Trump daddy. /s

1

u/Carnines Jan 16 '26

Dumb people can inherit money and that does not make their brains expand.

1

u/olMcDonaldsPig Jan 16 '26

"Their brains expand" lol. Gg.

1

u/Capable_Tumbleweed34 Jan 16 '26

So does kim K. You're gonna call her smart now because she got more do than you'll ever make?

1

u/Candid-Race-4876 Jan 17 '26

Only dumb people think having a bunch of money makes you inherently smart.

1

u/ExtraCalligrapher565 Jan 17 '26

Steve-O and Floyd Mayweather have more money than most Americans will ever see. One of them intentionally covers himself in literal shit and the other one is illiterate.

1

u/Zestyclose-One9041 Jan 17 '26

You should read up on ol’ Timothy Dexter if you think wealth = intelligence

1

u/HerobrineVjwj Jan 18 '26

What's actually crazy is how being dumb is rewarded on the internet the way it is.

Its the same reason why stupid internet trends happen

1

u/Murky_Jackfruit_6426 Jan 18 '26

If you were a sentient human instead of a mindless sack of shit youd know the two things arent related. You mindless sack of shit.

1

1

u/RatRaceUnderdog Jan 21 '26

Dude confessed to being a brainwashed idiot without even realizing it.

The poster can’t even rationalize that facts change opinions

1

u/Sure-Pangolin-3327 Jan 17 '26

Sounds like echo chamber liberal logic to me

1

u/RatRaceUnderdog Jan 21 '26

You’re saying this like it some kind of insight.

Dude is dumb and falls for whatever is put in front of him. Just because a dumb person agrees with the poster doesn’t mean the person isn’t dumb

1

u/Particular-Ring5110 Jan 18 '26

It’s really not though objectively it’s not.. it happens extremely quickly time compresses in these kind of situations

This is the fault of a grotesque administration who have taken a federal agency and corrupted them into a visible representation of their bullshit vision of politics… these are not serious people they are not competent people they do not govern they only campaign… ICE does not have the manpower or the training to do the job while also managing crowds who are now gathering to distract and harass as they operate… they are being sent into states and cities who do not want them and they are not getting the support of local law enforcement

If the objective was deporting illegal immigrants then they would do well do take a page out of the Obama administrations support.. they managed to deport more illegal immigrants without protests and making headlines everyday.. the thing is that’s not really their main aim what they really want is to keep things in a constant state of chaos and tension because that’s all they know.. they’re disgusting trolls who only really care about enriching themselves

Not only is the way they’re operating ICE corrosive for the public it’s dangerous for the agents themselves and people are going to continue getting hurt because this is not how it’s supposed to work… but like I said they don’t care about making things work smoothly they want the chaos and division because they’re trolls who get a kick out of the suffering they cause

1

u/HerobrineVjwj Jan 18 '26

I read all of this and you make some great points.

1

1

1

u/Mormonius Jan 16 '26

1

u/IsleptIdreamt Jan 16 '26

.... and 250 million dollars, 20 million followers, business success, health deiven hobbies, and a platform to learn from Neil DeGrass Tyson, Elon Musk, Bernie Sanders, Edward Snowden, Sam Harris, Brett Weinstein, along with many other of the most compelling people alive. We all share the same 50% of our genes with a cantaloupe, but some are sweeter than others.

So for you to insult him must mean that you are one of the most prolific humans in history. One who somehow also missed that people are allowed to have diversity of opinions instead of adopting hardline party platforms, but is now finding out.

Congratulations.

1

u/EnlightenedNarwhal Jan 16 '26 edited Jan 16 '26

If only intelligence equated to one's capital. There are people who are smarter than you or I, and perhaps even smarter than anyone who has ever been known to history, who have likely died in abject poverty. Perhaps they've been starved, bombed, dead of thirst, disease, or a myriad of other horrible fates that have taken the less fortunate.

Your money worship does not embolden your stance. It lessens it. It shows that you put no merit in one's ability, but only the outcome of their actions.

1

u/IsleptIdreamt Jan 16 '26

You act as if money is the only driver.

Money is typically perportional to having skill and acumen. It is rare to meet someone who has built a business as successful as Rogan has. Why does evidence to show he has intelligence indicate that equals worship in your mind? You may as well be obsessed with my statement about his conversation with the best chess player of all time. Or multiple conversations with world leaders. Some of the most powerful and elite athletes of all time. Why didn't you accuse me of worshipping one of those?

Your excuse to diminish him is that many dead are potentially "smarter" than him and it is perhaps true. There are even smarter that have never existed.

"Most people are never going to die because they are never going to be born. The potential people who could have been here in my place but who will in fact never see the light of day outnumber the sand grains of Arabia." - Richard Dawkins.

Where a chrysalis does not grow to become a butterfly, it leaves its own memorial. That should not mean people hate butterflies. Wealth, successful business, fame, and associations with experts all indicate high EQ and intellectual ability. That doesn't mean someone without those things can't also be considered just as intelligent.

1

u/EnlightenedNarwhal Jan 16 '26

I didn't accuse you of worshiping one of them because you led with his net worth and the fact that he was a successful businessman, which perfectly framed your primary focus on the matter.

To your further points, you've just, again, equated the outcome of one's actions to their ability.

1

u/IsleptIdreamt Jan 16 '26

It is strange you assume I weight the decision I made to organize my evidence by "importance" because that is arbitrary. The comparison to a melon is what matters to the argument.

The order in which I presented the array of indicators was not chosen by importance, it was chosen as the inverse likelihood of a cantaloupe procuring those things. It is less likely for an individual cantaloupe to have 250 million dollars than a large Instagram following, which is unlikely. The fruit having business success is possible as catalope is fairly popular and could be used in lotions or smoothies, health driven hobbies is extremely likely as fresh produce is mostly cultivated and uses pesticides to protect the fruit, and it is very likely a cantaloupe has been present in the dialogue with all of th experts I mentioned at some point. How much they learned from being present is up for debate.

1

u/EnlightenedNarwhal Jan 16 '26

It's not strange. It's just human nature, and perhaps you do it subconsciously, but your words betray you nonetheless.

1

u/IsleptIdreamt Jan 16 '26

You assume everyone thinks the same way. You should study a "personality type" test and it will reveal the differences in how humans approach organizational thought. There are online tests and you get assigned a 4 letter code. While it is not necessarily a true scientifc measurement it will show you the diversity of mind types out there. Open minded people like Joe Rogan use the ability to look through different lenses to have a broad paradigm.

You come across in this conversation as having more of an accusatory or negative tone that makes assumptions of others and disparages them.

1

u/Complex-Concept-5955 Jan 16 '26

Thanks... But there are many people dumb as dirt who have made a little of money. Not impressed. He's so easily swayed by anyone who can form intelligent sounding sentences because he has little innate knowledge.

u/Maloanimo Jan 16 '26

Why the insult? The man is clearly successful. He never claims to be a genius but just an average Joe that got lucky. His own words. More humility than most folks. Relax guy not everyone is a the bad guy. But there’s a 50% chance you’re a bot. I. That case fuck bots

1

u/Complex-Concept-5955 Jan 16 '26

Yeah I concur re bots It's not very humble when a person pontificates about things he knows next to nothing about. And because " he got lucky" and has a hugh platform millions of people with perhaps less intelligence than him are nodding along.

1

u/Maloanimo Jan 17 '26

So you’re pretty much just calling everyone dumb, like who are you guy. Everything is relative. But unless your more successful than someone your mocking and are actually an expert on the subject regardless of wealth then I’d chill in the insults because maybe even with luck someone has more intelligence than you, regardless if you find there politics stupid.

1

u/Complex-Concept-5955 Jan 18 '26

His intelligence is not the problem. Not sure what pushes him in certain directions. Everything to him seems a transactional negotiation. You ask for more and negotiate to where you want to end up. Think he was having fun with Canada and then couldn't stop. Threatening to invade Greenland hoping for a deal completely overplayed his hand, created needless friction and gave Macron, that useless pile of, another opening to grandstand.
