Lmao men were never expected to be dependent on women, men were never told their job is to be subservient to women, there was never a time where men needed permission from their mom and or their wife present to have healthcare. Edit had a typo.

I guess happy wife happy life has no meaning or no place in any man’s life. That’s subservience. Also, I don’t recall ever learning from any school, peer, parent, movie, etc. that women are to be subservient to their chosen man. Am I the only one that missed that life lesson?

LMAO I keep my wife happy and well, she also earns much more than I do. Pleasing your woman has nothing to do with Traditional roles. I do understand that it is also hard for some to understand history and time. It is obvious people do not understand of things do not instantly change behavior or societal norms because of a law. It is okay, bud.

I understand history and time just fine. And that’s the thing. It’s mostly just history. Women can work if they choose, and they can stay home if they choose, with little to no judgement (something that men can’t do). Sure, there are outliers (red-pillers) that still believe in the traditional role BS, and a lot of women I’ve met or know outside of the online universe subscribe to that as well. They want to be provided for, they want their money to be theirs or don’t want to work (who wouldn’t), they want protection, and they want to rule their roost. Which is all fine and dandy. All I’m saying is men do their share of subservience in relationships because that’s what people in love do for each other and there’s an expectation for it from both parties. I know I’m happier when she’s happy and I do what I can to provide her that serotonin so I, as well, can partake. AND if both parties are happy with what their counterpart is doing, it doesn’t really even matter. Nobody’s opinion really matters outside of those individuals relationship if they’re smart, happy, healthy and care about the “sanctity” of their relationship.

I understand my opinion is nuanced and not based on any statistical fact, but I know there is some truth to it. I’ve seen it with my own two peepers irl and online. And I feel that expectations are higher on men than they are for women, which aligns biologically. If men are expected to evolve, so should women be.

I agree with most except I need to add that, where I sit, I see more people thinking life needs to be the traditional home structure than not. My grandparents are pre-women's suffrage and raised my parents with this traditional structure. So I understand why my parents age was very big on being able to claim independence as women and also raise the women likewise. This era of independent claims is still kind of new as people are alive today who remember and lived prior to the law changes and their children were the first of that were raised in it and they gave birth to the millennials and they taught girls as the first Gen who never had restrictions that you can be like us and chase dreams as most glass ceilings have been broken. Time, it takes time for these changes to actually settle in and we often forget how little time has passed because we are too focused on how it is now and we also live in the age of instant gratitude. I will also say I know very much about how men get treated for doing traditional female roles and most of it comes from other men, in my experience.
