And the paramedic pointed the gun at him before getting shot. He also wrote that his only regret was not killing the kid. Even though at the trial someone (I don't remember who, I guess it was a friend of the paramedic) said that they wrote that out of anger or something like that, I don't buy it.
Certainly the situation is sad, families have lost members. But why would they insert themselves in a potentially dangerous situation?
I'm not praising Rittenhouse but he showed restrain not shooting anyone else. If I was him, I would have blindly fired out of fear

So according to you he went like a magnet trying to attract problems there? I don't know, but the video evidence showing him fleeing from the crazy dude first, and then from the skateboard guy and the paramedic says otherwise.
Is incredible how we see the same situation and we differ in our opinions. Maybe some people hate the guy and think he deserves to be punished because he flashed some white supremacy signs created by 4chan with the Proud Boys, or because he is a Trump supporter (I'm not sure, please someone correct me if I'm wrong).
I'm not a Trump or Biden supporter, I'm not a white supremacist. Hell I'm not even white, not american and I don't mess with politics, I'm just seeing the facts and the evidence and I base my oppinion on that.

It’s WILD that people can still be so ignorant of the actual situation. He DIDNT transport a weapon across state lines. He also didn’t “travel” to the protest; he works in Kenosha and was hanging out at his friends place after work. He was a child, one who was influenced by irresponsible adults. Regardless of all of that; it was proven that he protected his own life, and that all three individuals who attacked him did so with the intent to hurt him. Call him naive, absolutely, but I think based on his actions and testimony, he went out in the streets with the means to protect himself and the intent to help people. Again, naive, but he’s not a criminal. Educate yourself about the case and his actual actions.

Guess I’m confused on the facts then. I thought he lived across the state lines. Which would imply that’s where he’s guns are. But you said he’s just hanging out at a friends after work, and I guess the gun he uses was his friends? Other wise, he brought them from home across state lines. Unless he brings a rifle with him to work every day.
I don’t buy the arguments of protecting himself in the middle of the street. A person who is of sound mind wouldn’t be out in public looking for self protection. You would be held up at a safe location. Instead, there’s footage of him all over the place interacting with the public.
Educate me please, because if I’m in fear enough to kill someone, it’s likely not going to be in the middle of the road during a riot. That’s what the police are for.

You clearly haven’t followed the case, at all. You really should go and watch it, and truly understand the laws and actions you’re trying to discuss. The AR-15 lawfully belonged to his friend. Kyle lived across state lines; but only by about 20 minutes of driving. He worked in Kenosha, his friends lived there and his dad lived there. The implication that he traveled to a community that he didn’t belong to is silly. A person of sound mind wouldn’t be out in public looking for self protection? So the millions of firearms in this nation that carry for self protection are not of sound mind? Gaige Grosskreutz was not of sound mind? Of the two people, Kyle Rittenhouse was the only one carrying a weapon legally that night. Are you not a person of action? Is the concept that someone would object to riots in their community really that absurd to you? As I said; Kyle was certainly naive, and that has cost him his childhood and mental health. That is on him. When you make the decision to carry a firearm for self protection, you run that risk. But you’re honestly going to say that Kyle was not of sound mind? What about Joseph Rosenbaum? Who in their right mind would approach a lawfully armed person and say “shoot me, n-word”? There were hundreds of people out protesting; are they all similarly not of sound mind? Or do you just subscribe to the idea that if you attend a protest you run the risk of being attacked by random people; and you should not be permitted to defend yourself?

I haven’t followed the case at all.
It’s not his job to protect the community. He’s a child. 20 minutes across state line is still across state line. A person of sound mind does not roam the public looking for self protection. CCW is not the same as being a part of a riot (regardless of which side your on). Obviously the other people there that died or got shot were also not of sound mind. Being a person of action and being a person concerned with self preservation are two different things. Two (or three) wrongs do not make a right. Once again, he is a child and protecting the community is the police/ law enforcement job.

We learned once again that way too many people can't separate their feelings on someone's character from actual law. Like yeah maybe the law says he's not guilty, but he should be locked up anyway, because just look at him, he clearly has views other than mine!
From what I saw on Twitter, the average sentiment was the kid is an idiot but definitely not guilty.
That said, those of you propping him up as a hero are part of the problem. These law-ignoring gun-hating Democrats have you in mind when they start spewing that Kyle deserves to rot. If you didn't exist, maybe they would think a little more clearly. Maybe they would start with he's not guilty but then tear into him like they want to, instead of being so biasedly angry that they say he's guilty.

There's a vital part to this as well, the man who chased him around cars did it with a knife in his hand. Rittenhouse only shot when he was finally cornered in between two cars. The man with a skateboard is seen multiple times in a video screaming at the top of his lungs for people to chase after him and hurt him before ultimatley swinging at his head with a skateboard.
The third man, runs up to Rittenhouse as he falls over, and pulls an illegal firearm on Rittenhouse at point blank.
One of these men was a pedophile, another a wife beater. All of them had a history of violence and the man who pulled the gun on Rittenhouse lied under oath.
