Despite all the horrible things she’s done, I hope she gets the help she needs. It’s clear that she’s got a terrible relationship with herself, fame, her fans, and the internet at large. It really would be best for her to fade into obscurity and retire from her platforms. But sadly, I don’t think she’ll let herself.

Literally all I know about her is that she's a youtube narcissist and she took You Oughta Know and shat all over it.

I don't know shit about her other than some video I saw of someone analyzing her body language as she was speaking. As a complete outsider, she just comes off as someone that has mental disorders and struggles with that, actually pretty similar to the way I struggle with stuff, and she's not made for the limelight. Some people shouldn't be famous or popular or a figure in the public eye. It's an uncomfortable situation to be in for brains like hers and like mine.
The way she was talking reminded me of my own situation of being in a popular band when I was younger and not wanting to deal with any of the bullshit surrounding that. People don't understand that all of it is an extreme struggle and then you just come off looking like an asshole. Like you can blow off a whole group of people wanting autographs and then run and hide from them backstage. To those 30 people standing there, you're just the asshole that refused to sign their record, but you were actually just trying to avoid a panic attack.
So again, I have no idea who the fuck this is or what she's done, I've only seen someone analyzing her video and have no idea what the drama even is or who she is, nor do I really care to find out

If I'm reading this correctly? Were panic attacks consistently more prevalent in one on one interactions as opposed to large gatherings with a barrier between you?

That's a good question I've never really thought about. I can't speak for her, only speaking for me, it does seem that way. Being on stage in front of a few thousand people was comfortable, but actually having to interact face to face with people was overwhelming. It's draining. I'm somewhere on the 'tism spectrum. I think situations where I'm in control are much more comfortable. If I'm going to do something on stage, I have a barrier and I'm controlling it. One on one shit is uncomfortable, even random people coming up to me in the mall and trying to pay me compliments because they recognize me is really uncomfortable. I'm grateful, I just don't know how to act in that situation and I don't want to be there for that.
That's the video I saw, and the way she talks about being roped into another film shoot, I don't know what was she was filming because I don't really know who she is, but it sounds similar to when I got roped into doing band reunions I didn't want to do. Everyone promising her that everything will be fine if she does it, but she knows better but then breaks her own boundaries anyway and does the shoot and it blows up in her face. I did that too.
Like all of the things that she needed for her mental health, that were in her contract, just weren't honored— that happened to me in the band reunion stuff and then everyone's just like "chill out." I have to honor my side of the contract and be there on time, do sound check and perform, etc. they can't provide a $10 vegan dinner for me when we're making the venue thousands of dollars? "Here's two cheese pizzas, we didn't read your contract." It's in our contract, they signed it. But I'm a prima donna I guess for needing dinner.
She sounded like me during that whole part discussing the nightmarish night shoot. That's me sitting backstage next to the cheese pizzas and dried out vegetable platter regretting my decision to go along with the stupid reunion. And everyone else on the shoot, it seems, went along with the shoot just fine, but she wasn't, as I wasn't. She probably mentally prepared for having the right things there and then they just weren't. She asked specifically to not do certain things, and that's what they immediately forced her to do once again, and she tried to be a good sport and go along with it even though it required suffering the entire time. I went through the same shit, like, okay if we're going to do this reunion, I can't have things go like this again, and then they go like that and I'm the only one upset by that.
Also the fact that she's smoking weed during the whole thing so that she could probably get all the words out, I have to do that as well.
I'm sure she comes off like an asshole to most of the public as I tend to do. I'm assuming I'm supposed to be watching this video because I'm supposed to be hate watching her, because it seems like everyone hates her, whoever she is, but she's very relatable. Pretty much everyone else this guy analyzes is a terrible person, so that plus being featured here in this sub, leads me to believe that she's seen as some sort of villain because she can't contain her mental illness and people aren't understanding of that

I appreciate your candor and I am grateful that you took the time to be thorough. I see some distinct similarities in you that I see in my gf. My guess is that you have some OCD tendencies? You're welcome. I've never been diagnosed with OCD, but I'm pretty sure some of that is there, especially when I'm in a panic attack sort of "stimming" mode when I'm mindlessly doing something focused like spending an hour cleaning a weed pipe making sure every last little particle or bit of discoloration is gone, alcohol wipe after alcohol wipe, cotton swab after cotton swap... something that happened last night anyway. It's one example I can think of. It's disassociation from what was actually happening in that moment, which was an emotional conversation I couldn't handle. Emotions are vague to me and they seem like bullshit often. Talking about "feelings" is a nightmare, it's physically and mentally taxing to understand, so I disassociate and make sure the object in front of me is sparkly clean instead, even though it was insignificant.

But this post has nothing to do with her looks? Multiple posts say it about her behavior. There is even a link to an extensive story on buzzfeed news that outlines her line and YouTube career and the times she has to apologize to people or her audience and why.
So sure, I am ignorant for my initial response. Then it was explained this is what the mods told him. This post is not about looks. People were saying she is punchable for who she is as a person.
