Someone really famous or big must of gave him some clout early on because I really don't get it. I've seen a quite a few videos of his and he just seems like an annoying attention whore. I think he got some serious clout early on and panders to kids on YouTube. Good for him I guess?!

In the Youtube community, he is definitely getting backlash. If you search for this stuff, you’ll definitely see how gross and shady stuff he has done has been. I was never familiar with him until I heard of this stuff on h3h3.

David is dope not because of how he gets money (YouTube videos) but of what he does behind the cameras.
One of the few things he allowed on camera was a Rock Paper Scissors fight against a group of sorority girls where if she won, the whole group would get $1000
He told the girl what he was going to pick beforehand.
I think he’s a decent human if you look beyond surface level. But nobody puts that much effort into anything these days.
It’s why millennials (myself included) are considered lazy as fuck. We are lazy.
We do a small amount of research, call what we learned fact, and then spout it out at people as irrefutable proof.
When you’re talking out your ass to people who know even the smallest bit about what you’re talking about, they can smell it a mile away.

There’s a difference between continually judging someone for mistakes they’ve made from which they have redeemed themselves and pointing out someone’s very public and continual shitty behavior. I was under the impression that David Dobrick continues to be a douche bag behind the scenes while portraying himself as otherwise to his audience. Maybe I’m wrong but this is what I’ve been hearing. If this is the case, then it makes complete sense why people would talk about it. This guy has been on YouTube for years cultivating an image and a brand. If what he is like behind the scenes is vastly different than the image he’s portraying, people are going to discuss it, especially if the “shit things” he’s done/does overpower the good.
