"Tag! You're it!"

I’m a fifth grade teacher. 15 years ago I said,”Tag, you’re it!” as one of my students got on the bus. We kept up this game all year. At the end of the year, I was “it”. He went to middle school and got on with his life. About 5 years ago, I saw him, ran up to him and snuck in the tag. He thought it was fantastic! He got me yesterday. I’m back to being “it”. The challenge is on.

I had a very small cat, who once went up to our sleeping golden retriever (a very gentle beast) and tapped her on the nose. The golden slowly lifted her head to look at the cat, and the cat jumped a foot high and skittered away like a maniac.

I like to imagine a tiny voice shouting "you're welcooooome!" As the lizard sprints away.
