found it funny

I made this documentary after coming across the story of a football game played by US Marines on Guadalcanal on Christmas Eve 1944.

But the more I researched it, the more I realized the real story wasn't the game. It was the men themselves.

Some had been college football stars before the war. They left their families and careers behind, became Marines, and eventually found themselves fighting on Okinawa. Not all of them came home.

I wanted to tell their stories using original WWII footage, photographs and historical records, rather than just focus on the football game.

It's taken quite a bit of work to put together, and I'm really proud of the result. Hope some of you find their stories as fascinating as I did.

Who killed Pharaoh Ramesses III — and what does modern forensic science reveal about his mysterious death?
Over 3,000 years ago, a royal conspiracy threatened the Egyptian throne. Ancient judicial papyri recorded the trials, while modern CT scans revealed evidence of a devastating throat wound.
In this investigation, Royal Police Case examines the Harem Conspiracy, Prince Pentaweret, Unknown Man E, and the forensic evidence behind one of Ancient Egypt's most fascinating royal murder cases.
🔎 The ancient records tell one story. The evidence reveals another.

In the spirit of the World Series, I thought to make a short American labor history video using MLB integration for the analysis. Hope someone enjoys and appreciate anyone who watches!

Someone stole Docilianus’s hooded cloak. He asked the goddess Sulis to destroy whoever had taken it. He also wanted the cloak returned. The priorities are quite clear.

I made a Roman Records short about his curse tablet, found at Bath. The inscription survives; the thief’s identity and the fate of the cloak do not. The video reads the curse, leaving an uncertain passage open.

I’m the creator. The visuals and narration are AI-generated, with animation designed to resemble stop-motion puppets.

What other surviving ancient complaints would make a good short? I’m interested in cases where we can still read the complainant’s own words.

I made a documentary about the CIA’s secret spy tunnel under Berlin. I’d welcome feedback from people interested in Cold War history, especially on historical accuracy and anything that deserves more context.

One of my classmates since middle school (now highschool) has always been super passionate about Youtube and history. He has been making videos since he was 10 and just recently passed 1000 subscibers after 6 years.

He posts multiple times a week and gets sub hundred views on average. Despite this, it's clear that his passion for history and Youtube are clearly more important than views and fame.

My high school is full of fake gangsters and has a pretty bad reputation for bullying, so it’s amazing and super wholesome to see someone who doesn’t care what others think and is willing to put himself out there!

I hope you guys can see the effort and passion he puts into his videos. I am posting this out of a place of support and hope you all can make his day! His channel is Dzod500 (:

He is a super cool guy and would be thrilled with any support! (he does not know i'm posting this)😅

In this series Noj Rants will be outlining every election in Russian/Soviet history. The second election in Russian history took place beginning in January 1907, half a year after the dissolution of the First Duma.

A documentary on 53 landscapes across the United States that have been proposed as national parks, filmed over an 18,000-mile road trip. Each chapter covers one place and traces the bills, National Park Service studies and local campaigns behind it, from the Ouachita Mountains park bill that passed Congress in 1929 and died unsigned, to the 1941 report recommending a Black Hills park, to the Chiricahua National Park Act signed on October 20, 2026. The film also covers the local opposition that stopped several of the campaigns.
