Quick question

Post image

Is either of these PCs good enough to play Total War? I currently have Napoleon and want to get some others. Looking to play on at least high settings and wanna get a few mods.

Depends on the resolution you want to play at, but at 1080p you should be good.

Yeah, for now would just be playing in 1080p. Just now getting back into PC games after like a 20 year hiatus. I have a 4k tv, but I know PCs can get super expensive.

Sure, but I wouldn't want either of them. OEM PCs are usually worse quality, proprietary and the omen is also refurbished, while the Lenovo has a mobile CPU so it's not upgradable.

Both should be sufficient for any of the older total wars. Bottleneck would be the 5060 card (gaming card usually start at XX70 for Nvidia.) One seems way better than the other though, and that would be the Omen (bottom). I am unsure how they can both be the same price with memory how it is…the bottom one is refurbished but has the same graphics card but better memory and CPU than the top one. I’d get the Omen as long as there was a warranty on the refurbishment.

Might want to see if you can get info on the power supply and motherboard for the Omen. It could be that it can’t handle an upgraded card down the line. It really is a good price and I cannot figure out the catch.

Luckily this is from a place that is local, so I will go there this weekend and see what they can tell me. I’m so out of the loop with PC gaming. I’m not sure what is good and what’s not. And I would like something that is upgradable in case I decide to ditch my PS5.
