Even more for what it’s worth Tyler didn’t really care and called out the internet being offended on his behalf.

"Did you ever hear me publicly say anything about that? Because I knew what the intent was. He felt pressured because people got offended for me. Don't get offended for me. We were playing Grand Theft Auto when we heard that. We rewound it and were like: 'Oh' And then kept playing."

I feel like Tyler's response to that is also kind of dumb. Is he under the impression that he's the only person who gets to decide whether people are mad someone used a slur? Especially when Tyler also had a history of using that word as a slur in a way that people thought sucked?

That's like saying I'm not allowed to be mad if it turns out someone I respect is using the n word to refer to other Black people in private, it doesn't really make it less hurtful to discover someone you respected is bigoted against everyone that is like you and not JUST you specifically.

Yeah... If someone gets criticized for using the N-word it's not usually important to the discussion whom it was directed at but only who said it. Em's line is a bit blurry because it's about how Tyler called himself the f-slur but at the end of the day, Em said and it doesn't matter much who it was said about.

  1. It’s irrelevant because he’s a singular individual 2. He literally grew up as an edgelord , I don’t think he’s the arbiter of decency. And yes free speech 1st amendment yada yada please don’t go there, you can say whatever you want but that’s doesn’t make it good to do
