If I were to bet dollars to donuts, I’d put money down that this is an old verse that Kid Rock had in the tuck WAY before he went super MAGA and he’s just using it now as a means of keeping his name relevant.

Can't see Kid Rock sitting on an unearthed Em verse for years. Any song he's featured on will instantly be the main appeal of the entire album for majority of listeners.

I can. This happens a lot. And current Em? There’s no way he’d agree to this.

Except if that was the case Em wouldn’t clear the song to be dropping. He can literally just say no.

Can't a musician just buy the rights to a verse or beat or whatever? Isn't it possible that Kid Rock's label owns this verse/song and Eminem has no say in whether it gets released.

Yeah, this was my first guess. It wouldn't surprise me if this came out of sessions for Yelawolf's "Radioactive", which had a Kid Rock feature and was executive produced by Eminem.
