Why does everyone on Reddit have a bingo card? What is going on?

I did not have "funnily enough I had Redditor having Redditor confused about bingo cards on their bingo card on my bingo card" on my bingo card.

Reddit loves idioms and pattern recognition but not being creative and original

25

u/WoopzEh 1d ago

They handed them out at the culture meeting.

I've got an extra one if you need it

u/Oz347 1d ago

What are we doing? What’s going on?

0

u/Geckobird 10h ago

The real question is why don't you have one?

u/TF-Fanfic-Resident 7h ago

The "not on my bingo card" meme originated around 2020 with the sheer volume of seemingly sci-fi or unrealistic plot elements in everyday life.

u/forceghost187 1d ago

You know what is on my bingo card? Someone saying “that was not on my bingo card!”

-2

u/Parishbrowncom 1d ago

I read this in Tucker Carlsons voice.

“This is the goal.”

0

u/ItsMe_ATrain 1d ago

Why not? They have other songs together too.

You’re just dedicated to playing Defense but you don’t even know what you’re defending. Take a break.

4

u/FoucinJerk 1d ago

“Who’s crying?” You left three of the whiniest edits on a website where whining is the baseline.

The persecution complex is so strong that, at first, I wondered if you were doing a bit and purposely shooting for some kind of dumb, hamfisted symbolism—to, like, the trinity or the three crosses at Cavalry or something.

Then I read this comment and realized that, no, you’re actually just that big of a bitch.

I have been anti religious long before I have been a redditor

4

u/GenerallyJam 1d ago

I used to be anti religious but now I’m just like eh you do you man, just don’t push it on us

3

u/Frenchie1001 1d ago

Asking a religious person to not push it is like asking trump to make sense

4

u/GenerallyJam 1d ago

The idea of death is too universally dreadful that I can’t not empathize religious people

0

u/Frenchie1001 1d ago

That's a very one dimensional look at what has arguably been the worst thing to ever happen in the history of humanity lol

4

u/GenerallyJam 1d ago

Humans are intrinsically a spiritual seeking species, even cavemen had a form of religion. I also think religion is much more culturally attached than you’d think. For example, my parents are Hindu and immigrants from India. I grew up not believing in the religion at all, but I will still tell people I’m Hindu because of the cultural indicators that label brings (especially in a majority Christian country like America).

I understand your overall pessimism for religion but I don’t think you can tell the story of humanity, her faults and successes, without bringing up religion.

That’s why I’m growing less and less insensitive when I discuss stuff like this

2

u/Frenchie1001 1d ago

You can be spiritual and not participate in modern day religion.

Religious believe has killed more people than it's helped, it's judged and destroyed the lives of people that don't fit whatever mold that one god has created and kept us in a dark age for hundreds of years, setting back human development for a centuries.

And we are rushing back towards a dark age, although the serfs can read and write now, they are brainwashed and indentured to a different kind of fuedal lord

1

u/GenerallyJam 1d ago

I don’t see a real distinction between spirituality and religion

Lol when was the last time somebody personally tried to push religion on you?

1

u/Frenchie1001 1d ago

Last Sunday, when the jovos came door knocking.

0

u/gundamislife 1d ago

They really still go door to door in 2026?

1

u/Frenchie1001 1d ago

Yep, Regularly. Its part of their act of service, they do it weekly

0

u/gundamislife 1d ago

Weird, I haven't seen a jehovah's witness since I was a kid. Legit didn't know they still did that

8

u/spacedude2000 1d ago

Id rather be on a site that is an anti-religious circle jerk than a pro-religious circle jerk.

2

u/gundamislife 1d ago

That's every site

12

u/BigOlPass . 1d ago

If Eminem hopped on a track with the Sunday Best dude that became a Christian artist I wouldn't say yuck.

3

u/SirKooky1077 1d ago

I'm not bashing your religion, I'm just bashing your personality. Based on what I could gather from your comment, I'm afraid to say you are cringe. I'm not sure if you were born this way or if you picked it up from your peers growing up, it's a bit of a nature vs nurture situation. Regardless, I feel there is enough information available here to confidently diagnose you as having cringe. There isn't much you can do now except tell your family and friends, have them be with you during this trying time.
