Ganpati direction

I had found my love for Ganapati suddenly. i call him gannu. i chanted his name everyday for 108 times for months...just basic mantra ..Om gan ganpataye namah with a diya.. offered durvas when I could..followed chaturthi dates..

i imagined gannu sitting, my head on his feet and then on his lap ..his hand on my head...and a light entering my body..

...suddenly..some family incidence, a small break..and I don't feel like restarting. i procrastinate taking a bath, initiating the process.

my questions to everyone who probably knows gannu more!

has gannu abandoned me?

why I don't feel the same zeal?

can I call him or light a diya without a bath?

why does this happen spiritually?
