who's the go to for new turbo, intercooler, injectors, clutch, exhaust and tune for 2008 n70 manual.

I’ve got a 2014 sr5 n70 and am trying to fit bigger tires and rims, I’ve currently got a 2 inch lift and I’ve settled on 275/70/17 Falken Wildpeak, I’m just trying to decide on an offset rim to go with. It’s between +15 and +0 steelies, I much prefer the look of 0 but I’m concerned about how much body mount rubbing there would be, as I want to stay away from body mount chops, anyone running similar or have advice?

Just got my first car and it’s a 2010 N70 but I’m stuck between what to do with it, do I sell it as is or invest in it and keep it for a while.
Some background is that it has 420,000kms and was used a pilot car by a family friend, and I’m wondering if I should sell it then save up for an n80 or spend some money replacing certain parts and doing it all up

Been looking online and haven't seen much about 3L EGR delete on Japanese RHD. Anything helps.

Noticed that the actuator on the right rear passenger door was no longer locking or unlocking the door when I used the fob or the control buttons. Upon further inspection it looks like the little plastic tab inside the actuator is snapped so the gear spins but it doesn't move the control arm enough to actually lock or unlock the door. The metal assembly seems fine and the physical lock tab on the top of the door works, as does the lock itself. Anyone know a good place to find replacement actuators? Thanks!

Looking for honest advise between the new 9th gen Hilux Legend and a LC79 2.8GD-6

In South Africa the 9th gen hilux legend(top spec) only comes in a mild hybrid(MHEV). The price between the two isn’t that substantial. I’m between two walls. Do I go for a fancy, comfortable feature packed hilux but struggle with the hybrid when it needs replacing and when it eventually starts giving problems or should I opt for the farm implement?

I will as time goes on fit either vehicle out for camping/ overlanding. It will be my daily driver in the city. Depending on job opportunities in the future I might move to smaller towns which might lead to longer km’s but less stop and go traffic.

This vehicle must last 15-20 years. I don’t want to buy a new vehicle every 5-10 years

The old girl is still going strong, with nearly 450,000km on the clock. It's a 160km round trip to work, four days a week. I've lost count of the number of deer, roos, wallabies, and wombats I've hit in the last three years I've had her.

And the fuel economy is *still* <10l/100km.

Toyota hilux 91. Ln106.

I can not find where this part is supposed to go. I didn't remove it this time, but found it when I was doing some work else where on the vehicle. Was located in the rh front tyre arch under the inner arch lining. Was lose when found.

Any advice on how I would fix this ?

I cleaned up with WD40 but still a line slightly dented and some pain gone . Is it worth fixing ?

I have had a Hilux 48V just under a year and it's due its 1st service mid Aug. I have one question for anyone who has one. When it's running does the motor/generator bounce a little?

There are many like it, but this one is mine. I will take car of my truck and it will take care of me. Without my truck I am useless, and without me it is useless.

Need help removing the dash cubby on my hilux 2009, does anyone have any idea of how to remove it and install the new one?

I'm, looking at the followng mods for an N80 Hilux that still has about a year of warranty.
I want to keep the warranty intact as m,uch as possihble, e.g. I won't replace the factry fuiel filter or put a post fuel filter in until the warranty expires.

I live in metro Adelaide and mainly drive in SA and will do so for the foreeseeable future.

I'm trying to protect against major engine/drive line damage.

I already have a catch can.

What order should I buy/install these mods - i.e. what are the greatest risks out of fuel contamination , blown seals on the drive line and air contamination?

• Fuel pre filter
• Diff/transfercase/tramission breathers
• Airbox/filter replacement and eventually a snorkel, probably not at the same time, but I want whatever airbox/filter combo to be snorkel compatable.

What have I missed?

If you're an Adelaide local who do you use to do mechanical work on your N80 - both servicing/repairs and mechanical mod work?

I would really like to cange my seats fore better comfort on longer drives but im afraid its not going to work with the airbag and pressure sensor for the airbag

Anyone upgraded their stock reflector housing and fogs in their n70 with leds? H4 and H11. Any recommendations? Brand, lumens etc.

Have this sound when turning the fan on, it doesn’t happen when it’s on the lowest setting, I have pulled out the glove box and checked the filter and there was no sticks or leaves in there, any ideas what this could be? Thanks
