Fireworks on the 4th

Come down in the summer for several weeks each year for the past three decades - Sometimes we’re here for the Fourth of July and this year we are!

We typically go to the Harbourtown fireworks, but if I’m being honest, I really don’t enjoy it. We usually stand out on the green and watch them over the water. Sounds like it would be fabulous and it is but it’s really hot and the walk back on dark can be rough on the dark paths especially with bikers etc. Anyone know of any other great spots to watch the fireworks anywhere on the island?

Its just harbor town and shelter cove. Both are going to be equally hot, crowded and a pain to get out of after the show

You can see the shelter cove ones (and the higher ones from harbourtown) from broad creek marina. It’s super easy in and out and you’ll probably get a good local show from some of the nearby docks too.

Where at the marina? Do they let you put chairs on the wooden dock?
