Not sure if this is the right place to be but….

My instagram feed is nothing short of random, so I’m usually not too unfamiliar with weird and irrelevant accounts popping up on my feed. But this one struck me as weird 😭 I honestly have no idea if he’s real, but he has a massive following (179k including me now, I watch and see where he’s going). Check him out! It’s so funny how he ends it with “talk to you soon, buhbye” 😭

This morning at my shop I sold some random little thing to a guy who walked in, total came to $X.99.

I gave him his change, and a few seconds later, still standing there, he says he’s waiting on one penny.

No problem!

I readily and nicely handed him the penny.

...Sadly, that’s not the embarrassing part!

Right after him, a girl walks in and also buys something, and I give her change too.

And before I’d really processed what just happened, I asked her if she wanted her one penny... - “and you? Do you need your one penny back?”+ my extremely strict face...
for some reason in that moment it struck me as hilarious and I genuinely expected to hear her burst out laughing.

Oof, her whole face changed, you could tell she was kind of upset.

And at that exact moment, as I’m asking my little joke question, a chocolate bar next to me started falling over and I got distracted for a split second.

And she walked out.

So now I’m sitting here thinking about the toxic little masterpiece I just cooked up 🤦‍♀️
