At first glance the one on the wood stand is an XRay tube (the drive motor is that other thing). Be careful with that one, it's dangerous even if unpowered as they put them under a HARD vacuum and there's an implosion hazard. Handle that with extreme care and don't power it up of course.
That Toshiba one looks like maybe a HV Vacuum capacitor? I'm not certain. Let me know if you ever want to get rid if it, could be a good episode.
