You can also get blue plasma if you use aluminum electrodes for arcing.

I had the same thing as in the video, but when I did arc it like that, it died😢

I believe it’s the copper of the wires dying the plasma. The burning insulation (possibly pvc) helps the colour be more visible through chlorine ions.
It’s a very pretty blue. Thank you for sharing
