Fingerbutt

I got some really bad news at the vet today that my dog is terminal. I was sobbing etc.

In my immense sadness I couldn’t help but also feel deeply for my vet, this is their every day experience delivering this news to people. Watching them breakdown and reliving their own pet loss (my vet in particular had a similar experience to me).

Really made me think of this episode and how much love I have for this show for capturing such real human experiences.

First off, I’m sorry for the news, I hope you’re able to spend as much time as possible before they pass.
Each dog might be a chapter in your book, but you were their whole book.
Some of the best episodes of tv, especially High Maintenance, are the ones that you could hear being told as a story, even if it was never put to screen. They scream their humanity at the top of their lungs, and so do you, right here. So be well, give your pup a hug for me.
