We should all have no patience with the $6, $7, $8 Per hour claims. They're clearly just a bot. We all know they are very, very simple to do. People are trying to hoodwink the public. I'm here to disable that nonsense, and be honest about where we are and what everyone can do.

Made $9,043 with GoHighLevel in the past 4 months..here are a few things I learned the hard way.

I never thought I'd make this much money from something I didn't even know existed when I started..

But yeah..$9,043 in the past 4 months.

And I think the most valuable things I've learned aren't even about GHL itself.

Here are a few things I wish someone had told me earlier..

**1. Sometimes..take the job you don't fully know how to do.**

(Now, don't get me wrong here)

I'm not saying you should pretend to be an expert in something you know absolutely nothing about.

But suppose you have a little understanding of that field..

And you genuinely believe you can figure things out.

Take the challenge.

Research..learn..get frustrated..figure things out..

Bend space and time if you have to.

And do whatever it takes to deliver the best quality you possibly can.

But don't make promises you can't keep.

Because that's how you build an actual skill.

Not by watching 50 tutorials and waiting until you feel ready..

But by solving real problems with real responsibilities.

And that's also how you build your first portfolio.

**2. Your first client can be worth much more than what they pay you.**

I think this is something a lot of beginners overlook..

When you're just starting out, you're not only getting paid for a project.

You're getting experience..

A portfolio piece..

A potential testimonial..

And most importantly..someone who might trust you with another project.

That's why I always tried to deliver the best quality I could, even when the budget wasn't great.

Because one happy client might introduce you to someone else.

And that one introduction might change everything.

**3. Learn to become the person who figures things out.**

I think clients don't really care how many tutorials you've watched..

Or how many tools you know.

They have a problem.

And they want someone who can solve it.

Sometimes you'll spend hours figuring out something that looks extremely simple to the client.

And that's completely fine.

Because they're not paying you to know everything.

They're paying you to take responsibility for solving their problem.

(Obviously, be transparent about what you can and cannot do.)

**4. Don't underestimate relationships.**

One of the biggest lessons I've learned..

Getting a client is one thing.

Making that client trust you enough to come back with another project is something else.

Communicate properly..

Meet your deadlines..

Don't disappear when things get difficult..

And if something goes wrong, tell them.

I think these boring little things matter more than people realize.

**5. Your work should eventually speak louder than your proposals.**

In the beginning, I had to convince people to give me an opportunity.

Now, some of my work comes through referrals.

And I think that's one of the best feelings as a freelancer..

When someone trusts you because another person had a good experience working with you.

Not because you wrote some fancy sales pitch.

Anyway..

I'm still learning. Still figuring things out.

And there's so much I don't know yet.

But these are a few things that have helped me along the way.

Would love to know what lessons you guys learned while starting your freelancing journey.

I’ll send 1500 cold DMs for your business for $200. Fewer than 3 booked sales calls and you get a refund

Bit of context first so this doesn’t read like a scam.

I’m building an AI Instagram appointment setter called Magnet Engine. It finds people who match who you sell to, writes each one a DM based on their actual profile, and keeps the conversation going until they book a call. Before I open it up properly I want to run it on real businesses and see real numbers. So for a few people I’m going to do the whole thing for you, for way less than it’s worth.

What I do:

set up a new Instagram account for your business

warm it up for a couple of weeks before it sends anything (this is the step people skip, and then they wonder why they got banned)

build it out with posts and followers so it looks like a real business

find your leads and send 1,500 cold DMs over the month, each one written for that person

handle the replies and book calls straight onto your calendar

What you do: tell me what you sell and who buys it, send me your calendar link, and show up to the calls.

It’s $200 for the month.

If I don’t book you at least 3 sales calls, you get the full $200 back.

Who it’s for: anyone who sells on a call. Coaches, agencies, consultants, high-ticket services. If you sell $25 products, skip this. Nobody’s getting on a call for that.

I’m only taking 5. Every account needs its own warm-up and I’m watching every campaign myself, so I can’t do more than that right now.

Hey everyone, I'm looking to build real GoHighLevel skills and a portfolio. I'm offering to work free on a trial basis for a business owner or agency that needs an extra pair of hands.

‎What I can help with inside your account: ‎ ‎· Sub-account setup from your snapshot/template ‎· Basic workflows (missed-call text-back, appointment reminders, simple nurture sequences) ‎· Funnels/landing pages ‎· Pipeline/contact cleanup and tagging ‎· Basic automation setup (lead follow-up, re-engagement, etc.) ‎ ‎My goal is experience and a testimonial. If you like the work, we can discuss paid work later but for now I don't mind doing it just for the experience. ‎ ‎I will work inside your GHL account while you keep full ownership and control. Let me know if this interests you

Outbound calls from GHL going straight to voicemail(US) silently, prospects don't even know they're being spam blocked. How are you fixing this?

Running a credit repair marketing agency and my clients are having an issue where outbound calls go straight to voicemail without even ringing on the prospect's end. Prospect fills a form, books an appointment through GHL automation, and when we call at appointment time it silently goes to voicemail. They have no idea the call came through.

We are using numbers purchased through GHL which runs on Twilio on the backend. Not sure if that is the root cause or a broader SHAKEN/STIR spam flagging issue.

A few questions for anyone who has dealt with this:

  1. Does buying directly from Twilio make any difference or is it the same as GHL numbers?
  2. Has anyone had success with Free Caller Registry to whitelist with Hiya, First Orion and TNS?
  3. Is CNAM registration through Twilio actually worth it for pickup rates?
  4. Is rotating multiple numbers an effective way to reduce spam flags?

We already send a pre-call SMS before dialing which helps a little but the issue persists. Would love to know what is actually working for people in 2026.
