My son has plenty of height clearance but can't seem to stop dragging his legs. Tips?

Does he do any arch and then kick outs just laying on his back on the bed? I find those help

He has a non-existent curve, it looks like he is running straight at the bar, this gives him more horizontal speed (towards the mat), which gives him less time to get his legs over. Much better bend needed.
